3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draft from the tasting room. Pours medium orange with sharp spice and lemon peel notes and British malts. Not what I expected. Not sure what’s "X" about it. Not bad but meh.
Great strong and big IPA comparitable to their earlier years release except not as thick. Travlr (25876) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - JAN 22, 2015
Bottle. Hazy to cloudy golden color, white head with sheets of lacing. Aroma of fruity straw. Taste is bitter stone fruit and tropical fruit. Pretty drinkable. ESBob (379) - Indiana, USA - DEC 31, 2014

November Ale Alpharetta. More hoppy than any other English variety IPA. Nice light citrus, earthy hops with a solid malt backbone. Well balanced with notes of various fruitiness. Cybercat (6048) - Georgia, USA - NOV 20, 2014
Pours a hazy, barely translucent apricot with a fairly thick cream head. Woody hops dominate the aroma but let through a citrus hint. Flavor is hoppy, mainly resiny, with a lemon and grapefruit underpinning. Smooth texture has some good fizz and leaves a hoppy and grapefruit finish.

Rated on 10-03-2014 (Bottle) This beer has a small off-white head that mostly diminishes, cloudy butterscotch body, very fizzy, fast rising carbonation, floaties, and a fair amount of lacing. The aroma is citrus hops, fruity and caramel malt. The flavor is moderately bitter, citrus hops, fruity, and caramel malt. This beer’s mouthfeel is moderate carbonation and it is medium bodied. This beer is most quaffable and it worth trying. It is a hop head beer! tmoreau (4596) - Lombard, Illinois, USA - NOV 1, 2014
UPDATED: DEC 14, 2014 Shared 12 oz. bottle poured to snifters, showing a hazed, orange hue, with a modest layer of soft white foam that diminished expeditiously to a bubbly ring & film, and left some spotty lacing on the glass. The nose was not overly expressive notes of light grain, dried apricot, and light spice. The taste presented moderate earthy & lingering hop bitterness to a medium body, with average carbonation. The finish was astringent, tart & dry. Not bad, not wowed. Probably a fresher bottle next time. The orangey gold color was hazed, with more persistence to the frothy, soft white head, and wavy cling to the lacing. The nose was a bit of marmalade sweetness, some earthiness & greenery, ripened stone fruit, and touches of resin & tropical scent as pineapple. Earthy & rind-like hop bitterness was more pronounced, with dryness, and a lingering nature. There was enough tempering malt & sweetness to create a nice sessionability. +.3 DCLawyer (2912) - Falls Church, Virginia, USA - OCT 26, 2014

Pours an amber color with a white foam head that doesn’t last that long. Spicy aroma, medium sweet taste with a short bitter finish. Thick texture, okay overall. Not my favorite but I did enjoy the bottle I had. decaturstevo (6343) - decatur, Tennessee, USA - OCT 16, 2014
