Travlr (24784) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - MAY 23, 2011
Bottle at Busboys & Poets. Bright deep golden color, medium white head. Aroma of light pine. Taste has a balanced bitterness with citrus and pine. Very nice.

Leighton (21255) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 22, 2010
Cask at Rattle n Hum. Pours a nice orange-yellow with soft, pillowy white head. Mild aroma of earthy hops and some malts. Hops have mellowed a bit in the flavor, giving this beer an almost Pale Ale character. Medium body with light carbonation. Finishes with just touches of fruity bitterness and caramel malts. Pretty smooth and tasty.

bhensonb (15195) - Woodland, California, USA - MAR 9, 2009
Bottle from Acknud just arrived. Came cool enough to drink! Slightly hazy amber gold color with a multifinger off-white head (Sam Adams glass). Lots of floral and citric aroma. Medium body with mild carbonation. Flavor is light stone fruit, followed by a little citrus, followed by some malt. Finish is mostly dry, and remains fruity. Bottle dated 04/22/2008. If you’re holding, don’t worry, cause it’s holding well. It’s one of those floral beers that makes me think ESB. Hoppy ESB. I was just thinking that it’s my kind of light beer, and then I noticed the 8%! No wonder it’s my kind of light beer. And it drinks like 5%. Could be deadly in the wrong hands.

Tmoney99 (14490) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - AUG 22, 2008
Bottle from River’s Bend. Poured a hazy deep amber with a large off-white head that lasted and produced good lacing. Good earthy hoppy aroma. Medium body with a slick texture. Moderate to heavy balanced hoppy flavor with a moderate smooth bitter finish of moderate duration. Good drinkable brew.

argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - MAY 17, 2010
12oz, bottled 3/24/10. Medium off-white head that mostly dissipates atop clear light amber body. Aroma is moderately sweet, orange/grapefruit, some honey. Taste is moderately sweet, pine/pineapple, some honey, orange, alcohol warming. Sticky medium-full body. With this much alcohol evident, seems more like an IIPA.

Drake (13738) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 30, 2010
12 ounce bottle from Beer Run in Charlottesville, VA. Pours a clear apple juice color with a thin head. Decent head retention and lacing. Aroma of pale malts and leafy, floral hop notes. Fairly faint. The taste is toasted malts, caramel and bitter, floral hoppy notes. Medium bodied. 5/20/10

BeerandBlues2 (13322) - Escondido, California, USA - AUG 10, 2007
Bottle received via trade with drmatt. Pours hazy amber with a spare, fizzy, off-white head, somewhat diminishing, spare lacing. Aroma is light malt (cereal, meal), heavy hops (pine, resin, grapefruit), light yeast (sweat) with notes of peaches and apricot. Medium bodied, alcoholic texture, average carbonation and a bitter finish. Average duration, light sweetness, moderate acidity and heavy bitterness.

bu11zeye (13029) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - SEP 30, 2007
(Bottle) Pours a lightly hazy orange body with a rocky off-white head. Aroma of rotten eggs and mustiness. Flavor of floral hops and caramel.

Dogbrick (13012) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - JAN 21, 2009
This beer pours a mostly clear orange-amber color with a medium fluffy ivory white head that recedes steadily. Patches of lacing on the glass. Grapefruity hops in the nose with a touch of sweet malt. Medium body with a moderately bitter hops character. Features more grapefruit and a bit of caramel malt flavor. The finish is hoppy with a lingering citrusy aftertaste. Overall this is a pretty good straightforward IPA.

hopdog (12549) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 17, 2007
12oz bottle acquired in trade with xmarcnolanx (thanks!). Bottle stamped May 21 2007. Poured a medium and cloudy orange color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of grapefruits, pineapples, and floral. Tastes of grapefruit, oranges, pine and some caramel. Alcohol content well hidden. Nicely balanced and very enjoyable!
