3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Golden brown. More gold than brown. Head hws a slight yellow tint to it. Smellsnof hops and lemon/citrus. Flavor starts off very nice. Malt, citrus and bitter hops. Then everything fades and you are left with just a dry bitter taste.
Rated on 6-25-2010 (Bottle at JK O’Donnell’s in Fort Wayne, IN) This beer forms a small off-white head that mostly diminishes, hazy golden body, visible carbonation, and a fair amount of lacing. The aroma is citrus and grapefruit hops. The taste is caramel malt and citrus hops. The palate is soft carbonation and this beer is medium bodied. This beer has a lingering hoppy aftertaste and is a beer geared towards hop heads. ads135 (4607) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - NOV 11, 2013
A very nice, decently balanced IPA. Biscuity and sweet with a muted bitterness until the end. catface5326 (154) - virginia beach, Virginia, USA - OCT 4, 2013
Nice golden orange color poured from a tap. Lemon citrus smell. Decent ipa but not as citrusy as I like queenholly (3623) - South Whitley, Indiana, USA - MAR 26, 2013

Uploading old ratings that were missing comments. Seems to be more in the English style. Good balance and understated.

Draft. Poured a clear medium orange color with a white head. Smelled of earthy hop, subdued apricot, and pale malt. Light to medium bodied. Delicately sweet up front, drier finish. Fresh cereal grain, earthy hop, and subdued caramel flavors. seymour (2045) - Maplewood, Missouri, USA - SEP 17, 2012
UPDATED: SEP 16, 2015 Sampled on tap at the 2012 Schlafly Hop In The City festival. It poured a hazy golden light amber color with weak white head, no lace. 100% true-to-style English style IPA aromas and flavors. It appears they used traditional Fuggles and Goldings hops. Earthy, flowery, citrusy (but not grapefruity), mild but not masked malt sweetness. Well-concealed elevated alcohol. This was the least audacious, and in my opinion, likely the best IPA of the fest. Pour form a 12oz bottle. AMber brew with nice off white head. Aroma of light malts, brown sugar, foral hops. Taste is a solid malt backbone with floral and herbal hops rolling in mid swallow. Nice blend of sweet and bitter, easy drinking and tasty English style IPA. jcnielsen (3412) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - JUN 29, 2012
