Really liked the hops in this one. Felt like they had a nice, fresh flavor. Nice color and wonderful hop nose. Some bite on the finish, but not too much. A hop lovers beer. seymour (2120) - Maplewood, Missouri, USA - SEP 17, 2012
Sampled on tap at the 2012 Schlafly Hop In The City festival. It poured a hazy golden light amber color with weak white head, no lace. Truly incredible aromas: minty, floral, citusy, tropical fruit, husky grains, sweet malt, fruity ale yeast esters. Sadly, the flavors didn’t match: it tasted far too bitter, badly balanced to the non-descript grainbill, thick vegetal body. Medium body, too little carbonation, too bitter aftertaste. I’ll admit the elevated alcohol was well-concealed, though. I feel that with fewer early hops and a little more malt complexity, this beer could be a masterpiece. If nothing else, I learned I love Galaxy for aroma hops. gregwilsonstl (2687) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - SEP 15, 2012
Dark straw. Smells like an andes mint, but doesn’t taste like it. Lasting soft bitterness. rbfishstick (176) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 19, 2012
Enjoyed at GTMW 2012. Pours a cloudy gold with a small white head. Smells of citrus and the taste is cream with hops. Mild aftertaste. jmagnus87 (3302) - Rockford, Illinois, USA - JUL 16, 2012
Draft at the Tap Room. I liked this one enough to bring a growler home. Perfect use of the Galaxy hop. I would love to drink this every day.

Draft at The Tap Room, served in a snifter. Pours a clear orange-amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of citrusy hops, sweet and caramel malts, pine resin, and wet earthiness. Flavor of tropical and citrus fruits, sweet and caramel malts, resin, grapefruit peel, and earth. Medium-bodied, with a juicy, sweet mouthfeel that coats the palate and moderate carbonation. Another great IPA from Schlafly. Loving these new ones. kwoeltje (2234) - Manchester, Missouri, USA - JUN 17, 2012
(sample at 2012 STL Brewers Heritage Festival) hazy orange with small head. Strong grapefruit aroma. Flavor was grapefruit, citrus, a little earth, caramel malt. jandd1983 (4632) - Wentzville, Missouri, USA - JUN 17, 2012
Sampled at the 2012 Heritage Festival. It poured a lightly hazy orange color with a small white head. The aroma was of resin, grain, passion fruit and orange. The taste was of pine, earth, grain, citrus and caramel with a dry, bitter finish. A very tasty IPA. vyvvy (6775) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - JUN 14, 2012
Pours fairly clear copper with an off-white sudsy head. The aroma has heavy smooth grapefruit, some dankness, toasty caramel malt, hint of garlic / green onion and funky hoppiness. Medium body that smooth at first then has a grainy feel when the carbonation sets in. The carbonation is fairly modest. The flavor begins with smooth caramel malt mixed with lots of hoppiness that has traits of pine, grapefruit, earth, dank, funk and then finishes with a very rustic and rough earthiness mixing in with the rest. Nice IPA - Schlafly is making a habit of doing that.
