2 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle bought in Herrin, IL in 2011.
Appearance: Pours a creamy white head that disappears quickly. Body is a golden straw color.
Nose: not much.
Taste: slight citrus flavor, maybe apple or orange; crisp; slight pils or hefe-weizen hops. Well balanced but not much flavor compared to German made hefe-weizen.
Mouthfeel: watery and very carbonated;
Overall: Not nearly as tasty as German made hefe-weizen but not bad either. Better than Blue Moon. Good session beer, refreshing, but not worth the cost in light of the German made options. I hope Schlafly learns to do better in the future.
Some banana. A little bread yeast. Pours hazy golden with ok head and lacing. Clean and smooth finish like the outros to Pete Rock tracks. Tap at beer festival. PanMarek (465) - Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 11, 2017
Cloudy, pale golden pour with lots of white foam. Touches of yeast and hops in the nose and bready wheat. Light body, active fizz, sweet finish. There were a number of flavors present, some lemon, pepper, yeast but they never quite coalesced into a complimentary set of flavors.

Bottle. Head is initially small, frothy, white, mostly diminishing. Body is medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (grain, husks, wort), trace hops (herbs), with light notes of vegetables and lemon pith. Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, lightly to moderately bitter, slightly husky. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation.
Light and dirty aroma, and bland and husky in the mouth. Drain pour. Block (3222) - Indianapolis, Indiana, USA - JAN 3, 2016
This beer was very light and it felt like it had lost all flavors. Not too crisp, just very light on the hops and malts. Very little citrus, lemon, or wheat flavors. The finish is a little yeasty. bhenning (19) - Indiana, USA - AUG 16, 2015
Not a bad Hefe, but a little too light on the palate. Makes for a nice cold beer on hot summer days. Yellow color is too clear for a Hefe, but for the price it's not bad. The touch of lemon with wheat is good.

355ml bottle. Golden pour, slight haze. Not much aroma. Flavor is sweet wheat, no real yeast character. Its mundane, not great. Needs a re-up. tfontana (1184) - Fremont, New Hampshire, USA - JUL 1, 2015
Bottle from Schnucks. Aroma is weak ester/stale beer. Appearance is hazy yellow with 1 finger-width white foamy head and minimal lacing. Taste is very mild sweet followed by mild to moderate bitterness. Palate is light bodied with thin texture and flat carbonation and long bitter finish. Overall, a pretty weak taste, and what there is is too unbalance to the bitter side for this beer. Better alternatives elsewhere.
