Sour taste I wasn’t expecting. Copper color, looks like a wheat. I expect better from Schlafly....this is more of a sour wheat.

Different for a "wheat" but more like a lackluster pale ale! Pours a pretty cloudy gold with a foamy white head and lots of lacing. The aroma contains some light hop notes. The taste has a moderate amount of hops throughout and basically nothing else. I find wheats in general boring and this is no different! Decent mouthfeel but this is a below average beer!

Faint wheat aroma with bubbly body with a bit of straw and a sharp hop tinge.

Aroma is wheat and slight citrus hops. Hazy yellow with a white head. Very little wheat in the taste but unfortunately it does mute the hops, leaving only a bit of lemony hops in the aftertaste. Good effervescent palate. A bit of a mess but it is drinkable.

UPDATED: JUL 21, 2017 Bottled 3/13/17. Not very much a wheat beer but a lightly hoppy beer. The hops aren't popping or anything. Hops starting to fade a bit. Some citrus, some straw. A light bitterness with some lighthly hefty fry. Biscuit malts. . With a bit 737314

Cloudy gold pour with a one finger, creamy to fluffy bright white head, that fades quickly to a thick skim, but has great retention and leaves decent lacing from there. Aroma is wheat, cereal, spicy, floral, dank and spicy citrus hops. Flavor is wheat, lemon, light grassiness, spicy citrus and a bit of sesame toastiness. Light body, neutral, slightly chalky feel, medium, sharp carbonation. Good stuff, crisp and refreshing, the hop notes work well with a wheaty malt base.

Not retired, part of the 2017 summer sampler. Nice cloudy and hazy straw color. Def hoppy and a little grassy taste. Easy drinking. Much better than last years sampler offering of the Yakima wheat.

UPDATED: JUL 3, 2017 Bottle. ABV says 5.0%. It poured a hazy golden color with a white head. The aroma was of citrus, pine, malts and some grain. The taste was similar to the aroma with more citrus, pine, malts, grains and wheat. Good stuff.

Slightly hazy golden coloured body with a nice, three centimetre tall pure white head, that fades relatively quickly. Aroma of fresh cut grass, light malt, some flowers and hay and a dose of very light yeast notes - pretty mild, for sure. Light-bodied; Sharp grassy and floral flavours at first with some moderate wheat and dry hay notes with a little sweetness from caster sugar and finishes with a little hop bitterness from grass, but not much going on. Aftertaste shows the grass, hay and wheatie notes, but without much hops or bitterness noticeable, just dryness. Overall, not too exciting here, but showing some flavours and dryness which may make this nice for some, but definitely passable for most, unless you love wheat-based ales. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Whole Foods in Pentagon City (Arlington), Virginia on 24-April-2017 for US$2,49 sampled at home in front of the store on 14-June-2017.

Strong grass and spearmint nose. Hazy yellow, thick head, good lace. Lemon, grass, spearmint. Medium body, soft carbonation. Very refreshing and quaffable.

12floz bottle (BOD: 04.05.2017) as part of Schlafly’s summer "patio (12-)pack," not at all "retired." Also ABV is 5%. A big bubbling head forms on the pour in a pint glass. Color is neon-yellow with some haze. Green leaves and lemon zest aroma translates to a thin bodied, lemon-herb palate. Meh.
