Pours a mahogany color. About one finger khaki colored head. Okay retention, good lacing.

Aroma is cold coffee. Good job. But its boring. No toffee, not chocolate, no nothing. But hey, you nailed the main part, the coffee part.

Taste is coffee, again, good job. Cold coffee, which I do happen to like. I pick up some coffee, some sweetness. Its tasty.

Mouthfeel is medium bodied, maybe a little creamy. Its bitter, like coffee. Its about like I would expect, which is good.

Overall, its nothing exciting. I love coffee, I love coffee stout, and I like this. But give me something a little more. I would recommend it.

On draft. Mahogony hue with medium white head. Big coffee nose like a cold pressed shot. Cocolate bitterness and a nice carbonation. Toffee and roasted tones carry a nice sweetness.

12 oz bottle One of the twelve beers of Christmas. The stout poured a deep black with a small tan head that quickly dissipated. The aroma of roasted malts and coffee is easily identified. Not being a coffee drinker it reminds me of smelling coffee beans. The stout has a light body with soft carbonation. The taste of coffee dominates the stout even to the finish. Not much of an aftertaste the coffee taste fades away.

Black color thin on the mouthful for a stout coffee, roast, light earth and malt. Flavors are the same decent coffee beer overall.

bottle @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Clear very dark brown color, deep tan head, lace stripes. Taste is toasted malt that adds a solid shot of carbonation on the swallow before moving to strong black coffee in a very long finish. Light and easy to drink, but also big-bodied and complex enough to be interesting.

Bottle poured to pint glass. Dense black-brown. Medium head. Big coffee aroma with coffee dominating the taste. One dimensional, but good nonetheless.

12 oz bottle with a bottling date of Sept. 2015. The body looks like black coffee with unusually red edges. The head is too fizzy and short lived. Aroma: cold pressed coffee and fainter dark roasted grains. Flavor. lightly sweet up front; mildly bitter by the finish. Coffee dominated but with a solid base of dark roasted malts. High quality coffee flavor. Feel: smooth, near full body with light carbonation.

Drink this one at breakfast and you wont miss your Folgers. Strong black coffee aroma with hints of licorice and smoke. Pours a rudy dark brown with a small wispy head that still trails out some beige lace. Robust cold coffee dominates the flavor to the point where there is little else to focus on. A tad on the thin side.
