Bottle poured to pint glass. Dense black-brown. Medium head. Big coffee aroma with coffee dominating the taste. One dimensional, but good nonetheless. chinchill (5340) - South Carolina, USA - DEC 28, 2015
12 oz bottle with a bottling date of Sept. 2015. freekyp (2427) - Thomasville, North Carolina, USA - DEC 17, 2015
The body looks like black coffee with unusually red edges. The head is too fizzy and short lived.
Aroma: cold pressed coffee and fainter dark roasted grains.
Flavor. lightly sweet up front; mildly bitter by the finish. Coffee dominated but with a solid base of dark roasted malts. High quality coffee flavor.
Feel: smooth, near full body with light carbonation.
Drink this one at breakfast and you wont miss your Folgers. Strong black coffee aroma with hints of licorice and smoke. Pours a rudy dark brown with a small wispy head that still trails out some beige lace. Robust cold coffee dominates the flavor to the point where there is little else to focus on. A tad on the thin side. GMCC2181 (1614) - Newark, Delaware, USA - DEC 12, 2015
Bottle via SL. Poured in to a snifter, black in color almost no head. Smells solid, cold coffee, coffee beans. Taste is some slight spices, coffee and more coffee. Wish the body was a little more chewy or viscous but overall a solid beer. crossovert (14006) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - DEC 5, 2015
355ml embossed bottle as coffee stout. Aroma is cocoa and coffee. Real nice. Flavor is iced coffee. Tart and thin. Doesn’t work for me as much as far as body and taste.

Pours black with thin tan head that dissolves quickly. Aroma is off coffee and basically nothing else. Taste is of coffee and slight malts and molasses. Coffee over powers everything and leads to a very unbalanced beer. Probably won’t buy it again but I appreciate the aggressive coffee flavor. For me, it taste more like coffee than beer, which is a problem. tfontana (1148) - Fremont, New Hampshire, USA - NOV 27, 2015
Bottle pour into pint glass from Whole Foods. Aroma is milk chocolate, coffee. Appearance is almost opaque black--small area dark brown at edges of glass with nice sparkle, 1/2 width off white milky head with nice sticky lacing. Taste is sweet milk chocolate and moderately bitter coffee. Palate is light bodied with thin texture and absent carbonation. Overall, a nice mix of sweet and bitter that dances on the edge of bitterness for me but doesn’t go over the edge to bitter dominant. A little thin. jflopsu (1827) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - NOV 26, 2015
Pours a dark black. Has a roasted coffee aroma. Has a strong roasted coffee and grain taste with malts and chocolate. A grainy and roasted malt aftertaste. Larry_Duffman (610) - - NOV 24, 2015
I poured it from the bottle into a glass. It pours a very dark brown color with a tan head. The aroma is big on roasted coffee. The taste is also huge on coffee with hints of chocolate and vanilla. It’s got a nice dry and roasty palate. This was tasty. snoot8726 (110) - Terre Haute, Indiana, USA - NOV 23, 2015
Bottle. Pours a fairly thin black with a light brown head. Smells exactly like a cup of joe! Love the aroma. Mouthfeeel it?s a little thin flavor is big coffee that gets better as it warms. Solid brew. Would love to have this on nitro.
