Thanks Brewblackhole for the bottle. Dark color. Smell of coffee, chocolate, hops, cream, malt and flowers. Taste of roasted coffee, malt, chocolate, hops, salt and flowers. More coffee than anything else. Nice black coffee taste. kimcgolf (872) - Dacula, Georgia, USA - AUG 20, 2007
Poured to a jet black with tan head that disspated quickly and left little lacing. Nose was not just coffee, but more like day old coffee, and the flavor followed suit. The coffee flavor seemed to be somewhat masked by a slight acidity and pungent taste. I was not sure if this was a result of the alcohol creeping in, or just the beer taste, and the beer left a finish that was dry and somewhat acrid, both when cold and as the beer warmed.
I like coffee stouts in genral, bu this one was not my favorite. Odeed (1803) - Bakersfield, California, USA - AUG 4, 2007

Bottle from Sean which I drank some time ago. Thanks dude. Pours out a very dark black color with a tan head. Smell is rich on the coffee and chocolate flavors. Slightly thick body with a big jolt of coffee flavor and caramel sweetness mixed in. Pretty good stuff, I would like a few more to make sure I liked it. Good stuff DrBayern (1139) - Morehead City, North Carolina, USA - JUL 9, 2007
12 oz. bottle on 7/7/07. POurs out a dark, almost opaque, mahogany, with a tan head. Chocolate and coffee immediately apparent, followed by some floral notes. Body is medium, some astringency on the palate, and light carbonation. Burnt caramel and some peppery bitterness add to a dryish finish.

Aroma is immediate cold coffee, and slowly evolves to roasted coffee beans, good lasting head, taste is light but distinct coffee with a powdery chocolate way in the finish, doesn’t dislay real oatmeal smoothness, pleasant enough coffee aftertaste, not much bitterness to speak of, fine albeit light and one dimensional coffee stout krysztofar (344) - belleville, Illinois, USA - MAY 30, 2007
Color is a deep garnet with an off-white, tall, and rocky head that leaves some light lacing. Aroma is rich with coffee and some dark dried fruits. Flavor is dry with coffee and molasses notes. good stuff. a little thin in the middle, but a nice contrast between roasted malts and a hoppy back end bite. JK (6095) - St. Louis Park, Minnesota, USA - MAY 29, 2007
Good coffee beer. Aroma is nothing but coffee. Flavor is coffee as well, just a little bitter, full flavored but one dimensional. Brown color and average palate. BDR (2534) - Roseville, Minnesota, USA - MAY 29, 2007
Bitter coffee nose on this dark brown beer (nice if you like that sort of thing). Bitter coffee body. Thanks JK for sharing Gregis (1281) - Stilwell, Kansas, USA - MAY 14, 2007
Pours a clear garnet color with a large, creamy tan head. The nose is a heavy aroma of wet coffee grounds and molasses. Medium-bodied and slick with a slightly astringent finish, this one tastes as advertised. Flavor is essentially cold, carbonated, black, French roast coffee with a slight malty sweetness. If you like iced coffees, you may love this one, if not... why the heck would you buy a "coffee stout"? It’s a decent beer, but it almost has more coffee to it than it does beer.
