Pours a dark brown with very little head and lacing. Aroma of sharp roast, coffee and some dark chocolate. Taste also has sharp roast and stale coffee with a bit off dark chocolate. Finishes dry with a moderate bitterness. Mouthfeel is slick a light/medium bodied with medium prickly carbonation. Has a harsh edge to the aroma and taste that I am not a fan of. ---Jeremy H

Poured from a 12oz bottle. Poured ink black with a thin head. Nose of medium roast coffee. Creamy mouth feel with a nice finish. Hints of bakers chocolate and roasted coffee. Much better than their coffee stout. Cheers!

A deep dark stout with a thin brown head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with light grassy hops, light mineral notes, light figs, dark fruits, nice and smooth. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with light peated notes, light coffee grind, musty character, light vanilla extract, a bit thin but overall, still solid after a few years. Biropholie imports.

12oz bottle at brunch today. Poured a nearly pitch black color. Small tan head atop it. Aroma was some coffee roast. Oat character. Flavor was some bitter roasted chocolate malts. Flavor was about the same, roasted. Medium-bodied. Easy drinking.

Pours an opaque midnight brown with a respectable tan head. Aroma is coffee and dark chocolate. Taste is sweet dark roasted malt, espresso, and dark bakers chocolate. Medium bitterness from the roasted malt is there as well. Pretty decent stout.

Pours black with a tan head. Mild aroma of roast malt and coffee. The flavor has the roast malt and coffee with some chocolate. A little too carbonated for me.

(Bottle). Pours a brown-black complexion with thick tan head and glass lacing. Aroma of lightly roasted malt. Flavor is well roasted mild malt. Medium body and dry finish. Missing the silky palate oatmeal stouts normally provide. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
