Not really an aroma to this but it has a good malty taste to it. Medium head when poured with an amber color. Not half bad.

Bottle-pours a clear medium amber color with a frothy beige head. The taste is sweet with malt, yeast, and a well-balanced blend of spices. Pretty tasty and easy drinking, give it a try if you run across it!

On tap at Ellyn's Tap & Grill in Glen Ellyn, IL. as a 5 oz. serving, showing a clear, amber color, with a decent layer of soft white froth, and clingy spray to the lacing. The nose was soft malt, subtle lager scent, a touch of toastiness, and hints of dried fruit & caramel sweetness. Light to medium bodied, with okay carbonation, the taste was similar, with modest toasted & earthy bitterness, and a fairly pleasant & drinkable nature.

12oz bottle. Sort of weak offering, embarrassed to have thrown some bottles of this to friends in mix packs. Maybe a pinch too much amber malt, maybe no hop balance, maybe no lagering finesse....probably all three. Kind of a stale malty tone. In no way nails it, but drinkable on some levels.

oobawa (1650) - Tennessee, USA - SEP 10, 2017
On the fruity side of the festbier spectrum, with prominent toffee and caramel notes but most notable for the strong apple esters and lemon zest undertones offsetting the normal nutty, deep malt base. Finishes bready and semidry with a prolonged floral bitterness. Good orange hue with a moderate off-white head and some lace, but the nose is pretty nondescript, mild nuttiness but mostly pale lager blandness. Good crisp texture.

OH YES! Beautiful amber hue. Not much aroma. Huge malt taste, mixed with fresh baked biscuits, bread, butter, and dough. Thick mouthful for a marzen. Mixed in with a beautiful sweetness of honey and caramel. This is a winner!

Clear, dark golden pour with light beige foam that lasted moderately. Caramel malts in the nose and a touch of floral hops. Light body, active fizz. Sweet finish. Malts dominate the taste.

Tap at Rattle clean copper pour. Nose and taste are the same light malts, hintbof dries leaves, cellar floor, and caramel. Crisp and pretty good

Light malt and mineral aroma. Golden copper color, light head. Light malt flavor with a mild hop presence. Hop aftertaste lingers. Medium body and light to medium carbonation.

Pours orange amber from bottle. . Bready malts predominantly. Some light happiness.
