Bottle as part of a Schlafly sampler pack. I enjoyed their pumpkin ale so much, I wanted to try some others by them. Pours a standard amber color with a half inch of white head that recedes quickly. Loose, spotty lacing on the glass. Thin aroma of grains. Flavors of bread, subtle malty caramel. Not much else. Medium carbonation and medium body. This isn’t a bad tasting beer, but very boring and forgettable. I certainly hope the oatmeal stout and APA in this pack are better than this. Otherwise, I’ll be sticking to their pumpkin ale as the only recurring purchase of Schlafly’s offerings.

Not good, expected better from shlafly. Might want to drink something better before having this one. Maybe its the style, not my fav

Single bottle from Binnys. Pours yellow / little hazy. Nose and initial taste a little hoppy but not outstanding. Good; not great.

March madness 2015. The pale ale is pale. It is as it is supposed to be, a little middle of the road. So it’s easily drinkable but it’s not all that interesting. Buttery malt texture saves it.

March Madness 2015 - Budsweiser on steroid hops?!? A light beer that tries too hard.

12 ounce bottle from State Line. Pours a clear amber with a large foamy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of toasted malt, nuts, floral hops. The taste is tropical hops, caramel malt. Thin-medium bodied.

On tap at the at louis airport during a layover. Pours burnt orange w minimal head nose is pretty subtle, some citrus hop, some malt- a little muddled. Taste is even more muddled, a bit stale. Missing the brightness the flavor seems to pretend used to be there. Overall blah but not offensive by any means

Dull is a word to describe this one. Aroma is almost skunky malt with notes of brand flakes. Taste is sort of brand flaky and just insipid. Finish is platitudinous. Overall, I’d characterize this beer as pedestrian. This seems like an attempt at a "Fat Tire" like brew but not even as good...
