Draught at Churchkey. Clear brown, no head, no lacing. Aroma is subtle spice. Taste is chewy, warm pumpkin pie with a dollop of cream on top. Not usually my thing, but this is one of the best tasting pumpkin beers I have ever had. madmitch76 (26376) - , Essex, ENGLAND - OCT 13, 2013

Hazy deep amber beer, thin cream coloured head. Cloves on the snout. Palate is crispy and fairly dry. Sharp minerals. Very sweet pumpkin and sweet cloves. Touch of lactose. Dry crisp finish. A pretty sweet pumpkin beer!
On tap at Schafly Bottleworks, pours a clear dark orange amber, almost no head. Aroma is loaded with pumpkin purée, and very little of the usual pumpkin spices. Flavour is along the same lines, with lots of pumpkin purée upfront, but then there is indeed some nutmeg and cinnamon that kick in. Quite robust, yet tasteful and balanced. A nice pumpkin ale. jtclockwork (17631) - , New Jersey, USA - AUG 20, 2011
Bottle. Pours reddish amber. White head. Nose/taste of pumpkin, pie crust, nutmeg, all spice, clove and cinnamon. Lightish to medium body. brokensail (16689) - Dublin, California, USA - OCT 25, 2010
A: The pour is your rather average amber color with a finger’s worth of off-white head.
S: Lots of pie spice notes fill the nose. I get plenty of cinnamon, nutmeg, and all spice. There’s a mild graham cracker malt note and rather than pumpkin, I get apples...
T: The apples are present on the flavor as well, but still not really any pumpkin qualities. The spices are the bulk of the flavors in this beer, and fit the same description as those mentioned in the aroma.
M: The body is medium with a fairly lively carbonation.
D: This didn’t necessarily say "pumpkin beer" to me. It was much more of an apple pie beer, and a good one at that.

Bottle thanks to Seth. Pours a cloudy copper with small off white head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is strong nutmeg and cinnamon. Thin mouthfeel with light spice and nutmeg with sweet finish. Good. bhensonb (15965) - Woodland, California, USA - SEP 15, 2008
Tap at Schlafly Bottleworks. Very dark amber/brown color with a beige/off-white head that clung to the glass. Strong pumpkin pie spice aroma. Full bodied with creamy carbonation. It’s pumpkin pie flavor. Finishes with spice all over the mouth. My chardonnay drinking spouse loved it. Ratman197 (15616) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - NOV 20, 2008
Bottle courtesy of Beastiefan2k poured a clear dark orange with a lingering ring of light amber foam. Aromas of cinnamon, nutmeg, light carmel and light pumpkin. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of cinnamon, nutmeg, brown sugar and a hint of pumpkin with a smooth spiced finish. DSG (15403) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - JAN 28, 2014
Bottle sample at a tasting at Mastikim. Thanks zvikar. Amber. Aroma of pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg and honey cookies notes. Pretty sweet flavor with pumpkin, honey and spices. Medium-bodied. Tmoney99 (15116) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - SEP 18, 2011
Bottle. Poured clear orange brown color with an average creamy off-white head that was lasting with fair lacing. Medium to heavy pumpkin, cinnanon and nutmeg aroma. Medium body with a sticky texture and soft carbonation. Medium pumpkin spice sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. This is a good beer.
