Good coffee stout, but why raspberry. Why not hazelnut? Dark. More brown than expected.
Maybe just my taste buds not properly wrapping around this because it was recommended to me but it just wasn’t very good. Kind of washed out and nothing was prominent for flavor. Very thin for a stout. Bland. Aniela (4215) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JUN 9, 2015

RBESG 2014 in London, Grand Tasting. Almost black beer with a brownish head. Sourish raspberry chocolate coffee fruity aroma. Soursh raspberry coffee chocolate some raisins flavour. A nice one :-) koleminer20 (3942) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - MAY 14, 2015
Shared at a tasting hosted by Steebo on February 13. The pour is a medium to dark brown with a decent eggshell colored head that hangs around leaving some good lace. The aroma is decently malty, with a light fruit and not much coffee at all. There might be a little light cocoa on the back end. Rather disappointing. The flavor is very similar. Fruity and a light roasted malt, but minimal coffee and just thin. The mouth feel is really thin and watery. The carbonation kind of helps, but it just falls off the tongue quickly. There is a lingering roasty fruitiness on the back end that is probably the best part miyauchi38 (1117) - chicago, Illinois, USA - MAY 3, 2015

Cask at taproom. Pours black with a khaki head. Big raspberry on the nose. Lots of raspberry on the tongue as well with a hint of the coffee on the finish. It’s an interesting combination that somehow works.

[ As Schlafly Raspberry Coffee Stout ].
Clear medium brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, coffee, light rapsberry. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, roasted, coffee, raspberry, malt sweet. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Tons of raspberry and coffee, mixed with chocolate on the nose. Good body and nice strong coffee and raspberry flavor. Good bitterness. Overall high scores for this one. kraddel (8864) - Antwerp, BELGIUM - FEB 14, 2015

Keg @ Meridian Pint. Deep brown with a small head. Strong coffee dominates the nose. Hints of hammy sweet raspberry complement. Taste is a bit more malt-focused. Rich and ashy. Some dark espresso. Ligh hints f red fruit. Medium body, soft carb.
