Poured from bottle into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a lightly hazed orange-amber color with a two finger foamy white head. The head has a pretty good level of retention, fading over time to leave a great level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The smell is mainly a mix of sweet and hoppy citrus along with some tropical fruit smells. The citrus is of orange and some lemon with the hop being greatest of a grapefruit
smell. Along with the citrus and tropical aromas, there are some notes of a herbal hop as well as some notes of a floral nature.
Taste – The taste begins with a nice bready and biscuit flavor with a good level of some sweeter orange, tropical fruits and a bit of caramel. Along with these flavors there is a nice hop flavor mostly of a grassy nature, but containing a bit of pine as well. As the taste advances the caramel fades, while a bit of lemongrass comes to the tongue. The bready flavors grow stronger and are joined by a little bit of a spice and some light earthy flavors coming to the tongue. In the end a quite smooth and creamy fruit and bready moderately hopped flavor is left on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on the thicker and creamier side with a carbonation level that is on the average. The thick and creamy body are great for the moderate hop profile allowing all those wonderful hop flavors to really be sensed by the tongue. The average carbonation keeps it very refreshing and in combination with the very smooth body, this one is dangerously easy to drink.
Overall – This is a super flavorful, smooth and very easy drinking moderately hopped IPA. A very balanced beer with a great blend of maltiness, sweet and clean tasting hops. Very nice!!

Loads of pineapple on the nose to match the yellow hue and foamy white head.
Medium heavy mouthfeel with light bitterness and lots of citrus, mostly pineapple but with a bit of other citrus fruits. Light carbonation leaves the mouth a bit too unbalanced with some sweetness to aid.
Low malts may strengthen the citrus hop notes, but leave this brew wanting some help to balance. Still interesting and a pretty solid show from this St Louis brewer.

Bottle. Pours hazy golden with a nice off white head. Nose is orange and pineapple. Taste is also pineapple and tropical fruit. Good IPA. gnomungus (89) - - JUN 25, 2014
Clear appealing pour with a substantial head. The flavor is full of Galaxy flavor, with tropical fruits and bitterness. There also some malty sugar in there. tectactoe (3125) - Michigan, USA - MAY 13, 2014
Bottle: Thanks, Mark! Slightly hazy, yet radiant sunshine yellow body with a foamy white head that turns to a soapy skin in just a few moments. Aroma is an incredibly unique blend of fruits that I’ve never gotten before... Lots of pineapple, melon, persimmon, mango, passion fruit, perhaps a touch of bubblegumm-y sweetness. Very different, but a lovely fruit essence. A hint of dankness in the finish. Taste has a mellow, rolling bitterness but a bit of gummy malt sweetness to really make the hop flavors seem juicy. Honeydew, melon, pineapple, mango... Tropical, mostly, with a stronger perfume oil & herbal pepper presence, too. Smooth, slick, slightly dry finish. Gotta say, this stuff was very tasty & super unique.

bottle @ Pompilio’s / Newport KY --- Clear straw color with 1/2" white head that never gives up, bands of lace. Taste begins with caramel malt, but it is overwhelmed in the palate by assertive citrus hops. In the end, the hops can’t hold the field and yield to the return of the malt, which lingers nicely in a long finish. One of the best from Schlafly. Pours a nice amber color with white head. Citrus, pine, floral, and resin notes on the nose; follow onto the palate. Finishes with a fairly sweet note. Reynolds314 (3477) - Connecticut, USA - APR 17, 2014
Nice IPA with tons of orange. All around this reminds me of lightly bitter and sweet malted orange juice. Tasty and drinkable with some light tropical fruit notes as well. BoBoChamp (5878) - Gent, BELGIUM - APR 14, 2014
