Clear orange beer, creamy irregular white fluffy head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: very fruity, pineapple, some citrus, tangerines, fresh oranges, piny and resinous touch. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: lots of tangerines, some mango, soft bitterness, mango, piny, little sweet. Aftertaste: little bitter, fruity, mango, some passion fruit.
Color is perhaps the lightest I’ve ever seen in an IPA. If not for the cloudiness and the head, you might think like is a macro lager! The aroma is kind of funky. Kinda off putting, actually. However, that funkiness isn’t in the flavor. There is a fruitiness to it, but not quite like the citrus flavors from most hops. Mellow for an IPA, but I like it. Sneaky ABV at 7.2%
Gotta love the uniqueness. Bonus points just for that! patrick767 (4063) - fort wayne, Indiana, USA - MAR 2, 2014
bottle - Pours golden with a small, lasting head and good lacing. It has a good citrus aroma. This is a tasty brew with crisp bitterness, a medium body, citrus character, and a pleasant, bitter finish. Very well done. rrhoda68 (1) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - MAR 2, 2014 does not count
The Galaxy hops from Tasmania make this beer reminiscent of pink grapefruit. Nice crisp acidity up front with a nice clean finish. Perfect beer to drink with lighter foods even with its higher alcohol. TylerGreenDC (953) - - MAR 2, 2014
UPDATED: SEP 20, 2015 On draft. Huge, huge pineapple juice aroma. Thin yellow color. Flavors of sweet pineapple throughout. Nothing subtle about anything here. Just pineapple and more pineapple. Update: 9/15: Still pineapple, just milder with a bit more biscuit.

12 oz bottle poured into a tumbler..hazy sunshine color..2 finger head..one of the best smelling beers I’ve had..great aroma of citrus,pineapple..taste didn’t match the smell, but still very good..would buy again. Bropark08 (6) - Indiana, USA - FEB 26, 2014 does not count
Really wanted to like this one. As an avid IPA drinker, I was told at a local store to try this. The clerk told me to try Tasmanian IPA instead of one of my favorites that was out of stock (Three Floyd's Zombie Dust).
Excited to try this, it was actually a huge disappointment for me. I was told the flavor was very similar to Zombie Dust. I've had Zombie Dust plenty of times being that I am from Indiana and this does not taste anywhere near as good as Zombie Dust (not does it resemble Zombie Dust that much...it barely does). The flavor wasn't even that similar. Glad other people enjoyed this beer but for me, it just wasn't an IPA that I liked at all.

From a bottle. Pours opaque orange gold with a bubbly frothy white head. Tastes like sweet orange, lavender, light dry spice and resin. Very nice flavor. Slightly grassy, waxy, and boozy. Light body and low carbonation. Smells like sweet, creamy orange cookie. sonnycheeba (5988) - Federal Hill, Baltimore, Maryland, USA - FEB 17, 2014
Bottle. Pours hazy golden orange with creamy white head. Aroma is cookie and biscuit malts, floral and grassy notes, light candy sugar, faint caramel, faint spice, and faint lemon zest. Flavor is dry malt base with rich floral, grassy and pine hops, light toast, grapefruit esters, and light orange peel; dry finish with some lingering bitterness. Medium body and carbonation. jkwalking05 (4740) - Arlington, Texas, USA - FEB 16, 2014
