COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Schlafly Tasmanian IPA is brewed with 100% Australian hops. The Tasmanian hop, Galaxy, is a strong, aromatic variety that is different from traditional strains of the Pacific Northwest. Our brewers developed a recipe that showcases the hop’s unique flavors of citrus and pineapple.

12 ounce bottle purchased at Bread & Honey grocery store a couple blocks from my Manhattan hotel while on a business trip to NYC. Pours a very clear golden straw color with two fingers of fluffy white foam. AROMA of big tropical fruit right away; also melon, tangerine, dank, apricot, and herbal hops. FLAVOR of juicy but not overly sweet tropical fruit (guava, pineapple, creamy mango), bright citrus, sweet-ish grains, grassy hops, and some prickly spicy hops. Finishes with a nicely balanced bitterness and light sweetness. Galaxy hops are showing up a lot now, but I think this is the first all-Galaxy IPA that I have had. Very impressed and would like to see this make it to California! (325, 948)

Very musty ipa. Not a fan of the aroma or bitter and musty taste. Very dissapointed on this one.

Strong musty hoppy attic aroma, thin white carbonated head, bitter aftertaste with citrus and pine. Not pulling the pineapple as advertised but definitely can separate the Tasmanian hops from many other IPAs I’ve sampled. A different take and style of an IPA and worth a try for a special release.

Tap at Scarecrow in STL. Gold with lots of fine carbonation and a thin white head. Big hop aroma, pineapple, little musty, honey and leaves. Tastes just like it smells, musty bitterness. Body is light with a fizzy feel.

Bottle. A rich amber colored body with a slightly yellowish tinted khaki head. A bright nose of herbal citrus. There is also some sweet white cake. This tastes like citrus glaze on a toasted coffee cake. Fairly sweet, especially on the back end of each drink. However, there is just enough bitterness to keep it interesting with each sip. A lively body helps to keep it fresh. There is also some woody, slightly piney note, especially after dropping in the yeast shot. Nicely done and unique.

Really spicy herbal and hoppy aromas. I get lots of rosemary in the aroma. More hoppy herbal hop flavor. Herbaceous and bitter. Nice smooth mouthful. Really good.

12oz bottle from Party Source in Cincy (well, Kentucky) for $1.99. Hazy yellow pour with a thin white head and a sheet of lacing. Aroma of juicy tropical citrus, grapefruit. Tastes are resiny citrus, little perfumy, floral, herbal. Easy drinking thin palate with a juicy finish. Light to moderate bitterness. Very nice random find.

Bottled. Poured nice and orange. Really I forget this but unique down under hops predominantly. Good.
