3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a clear jgold with a 2 finger, creamy white head that has great retention and leaves nice lacing. Very strong aroma, lots of pineapple heavy tropical fruit, grass, citrus, some cat box, a little cereal and mineral notes. Flavor is sweet, cereal and toasty up front, giving way to lots of tropical fruit, more passionfruit than pineapple, bitter citrus, planty hops, some cat box (in a simcoe kind of way), mineral notes and a little planty garlic. light bready yeast and toasty malt. The finish is where it sort of falls apart, the garlic and simcoesque cat box notes seem to build up on the palate and make the finish less than stellar and leave a sort of salty garlic, citrus, pineapple aftertaste. Light to medium palate, creamy, slick feel and moderate, slightly sharp carbonaiton. Off dry finish. Good stuff, but the weird hoppy notes got to me after a while.
On tap at GABF. Pours a hazy orange gold with thick frothy white head leaving sticky lacing. The aroma is strong pine, dank, grapefruit pith. Thick body, dank, grapefruit, nice lingering bitterness, very good. chinchill (5313) - South Carolina, USA - JUL 10, 2017
12 oz bottle from Siglers in Chattanooga.
With a clear yellow-golden body and visible carbonation, this looks like a pilsner. The white head is somewhat weak but leaves fine lacing on the glass.
Moderately bitter and aromatic for style. Complex hoppy flavor with faint malts. Tropical fruits dominate with a hint of pineapple.
Medium body and medium carbonation.
Lingering but mild aftertaste of Tasmanian hops. oobawa (1736) - Tennessee, USA - APR 22, 2017
Decent IPA, with a big citric-pine nose and a surprisingly floral back end. Starts out bright and somewhat grassy, then grows an herbaceous orange-tinted hop middle, and the finish dries out considerably without growing overly bitter. Could use a bit more IBUs, and the appearance is nothing of note, but still a drinkable IPA. Wallaby501 (132) - - JAN 9, 2017
Dank and very tropical fruit aroma. Pours golden with a pillowy white head. Very big bite from the familiar galaxy hop with a strange tropical finish- like a passionfruit type taste? Little bit of grass in there too. Overall well done but not sure if I like this take on a galaxy IPA. Ratman197 (15354) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - DEC 24, 2016
Bottle poured a hazy gold with a small lasting creamy white head. Aromas of biscuit, dankness, tropical fruit and light grapefruit. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a smooth dry finish. Flavors of biscuit, dankness, grapefruit and light tropical fruit with a smooth dry lingering bitter finish.

Draught. This is a rock solid IPA that has incredible hop aroma and bite. Grassy yet not too bitter. Well done brew. willisread (3640) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - NOV 2, 2016
Tap at J’s. Hazy neon straw color with a finger of foam. Big tropical fruit forward nose with some light citrus and lots of mango and peach. Clean on the palate with good carbonation. More fruit, medium to light bitterness on the finish. Solid stuff! odinstyr (806) - Hamilton, New Jersey, USA - NOV 1, 2016
Pours a medium gold with minimal white head. Smells faintly of citrus, tropical fruit. Taste is mild, kind of dull - hint of citrus - mildly sweet not really bitter. Not an unpleasant taste but a big disappointment. trapped (3599) - New York, TURKEY - OCT 26, 2016
Bottle. Cloudy pale yellow with foamy off-white head, citrus aroma, medium carbonation, lightly bitter citrus taste, thin body, medium bitter citrus peel finish. Smooth and citrusy, nice brew. Clareeses (160) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - OCT 26, 2016
Pours clear and golden. Aroma is a bit off-putting, almost smells a little sour. Moderate carbonation with smooth taste, heavy on the galaxy hops, piney with bitter finish. A true IPA.
