Pours a transparent deep golden with a small frothy white head. Aroma of sweet biscuity Belgian malt with some doughy yeasty esters. Starts with good fullness and carbonation with a sweet toasty biscuity malty flavor and caramel notes well balanced with some light fruity notes and clove spice before a semi-dry warming finish. A nice Belgian tripel. beerdad (397) - Kansas, USA - MAR 24, 2009
Bottled. Pours a hazy yellow. Almost no aroma. Flavors of citrus fruit and grass. Finishes with a mild hoppiness. Personally, i would recommend most other tripels that i have had. travita (5003) - Dallas, Texas, USA - MAR 3, 2009
Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. The smell is sweet, alcohol, candi sugar, fruits, cotton candy, and spices. The look is clear, not much of its white head. The color is yellowish. The taste is sweet, candi sugar, very sweet, and spices. jkwalking05 (4735) - Arlington, Texas, USA - MAR 3, 2009

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours with a hazed golden body with a fluffy, small white head residing over it. Aroma of bread, honey, pear, candied walnuts, must, alcohol, bananas faster and vanilla. Taste is hot with caramel, coriander, honey, pear and more alcohol. Creamy mouthfeel, light bubbles. HomeBrewHawk (464) - De Soto, Kansas, USA - FEB 15, 2009
750ml bottle served in a Duvel tulip. Bottle conditioned. Pours gold with a thin white head that dissipates fairly quickly. It does have an effervescent carbonation. Lots of Belgian yeast aroma, more banana than clove. Also some alcohol and sugar. Medium bodied. Spicy flavor with some candi sugar. Nice spicy finish. Some warming alcohol. Very drinkable. dm9831 (1512) - Monee, Illinois, USA - JAN 24, 2009
on tap at schlafly’s tap room in st. louis. hazy gold color, fluffy white head, nice lacing. whiff of banana in the nose. spicy sweet flavor with undertones of banana. the banana flavor detracts a bit from the spice and belgian yeast, which subtracts a point or two from my rating. drfabulous (7933) - Lexington, Kentucky, USA - JAN 14, 2009
Very nice banana aroma. Lots of banana and sweet in the first taste. Lots of yeast. I can taste that 9 percent. Very cool. Enjoyable Tripel. Nice to see Schlafly doing bottle conditioned.
