Deep amber in color and medium in body, this malty lager is a light version of the Oktoberfest style. (Available mid-March.)

Mellow, malty and quite interesting. One of my favorite Schlafly brews. Very drinkable - a session brew.

Nice typical Vienna style deep red clear coloration. Slight head, no carbonation visible, but lively mouthfeel regardless. Some malty sweetness in the aroma. Interesting palate, halfway inbetween sweet & hoppy. Bites you in the cheeks! Finish is both sweet & hoppy as well. This is most surely an American interpretation, but its interesting.

Aroma is toasted grains. Some interesting flavors going on here, especially for a lager; very hoppy, toasted malt, and very crisp. Palate is spritzy and very clean. Hop burp to boot. This was sheer drinking bliss. Reminded me of Snake River Vienna.

Tasted 3/29/08. On draft from the Tap Room. Filtered with a deep amber hue. Layer of white head. Mild grainy nose. Rather cold, but better than most places. Fresh! So fresh! Mild to medium bodied with smooth light malts. Tight carbonation. Tight moderately hoppy finish. Good bread flavor. Typical Schlafly house yeast character. Coating. Typically a light OFest. Slight sweet vanilla undertone. Slight bitterness. Tasty!

a pleasant experience all around. an attractive lady with me for lunch at the brewpub after a long road trip and this nice little beer in front of me. poured a light copper with a decent head. fruity nose, with a flavor that was a bit of the same plus a nice floral hop character. really went well with the meal.

Aroma of grapes and light floral hops. Appearance is reddish brown with tan head. Flavor matches the nose with some nuttiness and biscuit. Palate is lively and foamy. Not wild about the style, but alright.

Sampled on tap at the 2012 Schlafly Hop In The City festival. It poured a medium orangish-amber color with a thin but persistent off-white head. Aromas of pils malt, strong caramel, floral and slightly peppery noble (Saaz?) hops. 100% true-to-style Vienna flavors as well: balanced malt sweetness to citrusy hops bitterness, complex caramelized sugars. Light-medium body, average carbonation, smooth and creamy mouthfeel, lasting tangy aftertaste. Low alcohol, super-easy drinking. Just plain enjoyable.

Hop in the City '03: Hazy orange. Chewy sticky malt aroma with light pears and sweet honey. Light maltiness on the tongue, while bitterness rules the finish, and it is seemingly from the west coast, good and interesting interpretation.
