12 oz bottle pours hazy golden with a white head. Nice citrus aroma and taste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

I poured it from the bottle into a glass. It pours a cloudy, orange color with a fluffy, white head and lacing. The aroma is wheat, mango, hops, and citrus. The taste is bread, mango, citrus, and piny hops. There’s nice carbonation. The fruity sweetness balances nicely with the hops. This was refreshing and tasty.

DATE: October 29, 2016... OCCASION: an enjoyable Saturday night... GLASSWARE: Rare Vos narrow pint... a thick, hazy, dimly-lit, golden-hued body that defies a vision of my fingers... little to speak of, in terms of its effervescence... the head is fluffy, thick and resilient.... tracings are like pyro flames... surprisingly pungent grapefruit, dank earthy hops, and lemony zest... sips swiftly, with a light-bodied, flattened presence on the tongue... slightly active on the teeth, suggesting some hops... easily drinkable... a screen of white coats the glass as it drains... grapefruit, apple, lemon and other fruits fill out the profile... no malt presence... a serviceable Schlafly product, thirst-quenching while providing some flavor...

I am quite sad this is retired. Right from the bottle into a tulip glass, this brew left a stiff, thick, white foam head that lasted until it had to be knived off. Bright translucent yellow color with pleasant mild yeasty wheat aroma. Delicious mildly sweet cereal wheat flavor with a perfect balance of piney spicy Yakima hop! So delicious.

Tap. Poured hazy light orange color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate sour citrus hop and earthy wheat aroma. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Solid brew.

Simply the best wheat beer ever created. There is a perfect balance of 3 aspects at work: hops, wheat, and acid. Bravo work StL Brewery

Canned FEB 24 15. Nose floral and hoppy, some wheat, but for me it’s lots of tangerine with touches of lemon, dank, and pine. Pours bright golden with slight orange hues, short soapy white head. Taste semi-dry with a little residual hop sweetness, still good citrus development there with no green or vegetal, very graceful hopping over gorgeous bready wheat. Very crisp and quenching, medium-full body with bitterness revealing itself in the long, smooth aftertaste alongside slightly elevated mineral profile. Impressed, was not expecting this level of freshness or cohesion of elements -- would be a fantastic spring/summer beer. [2015.11.14: 3.5]

Decently hazy weizen with a banana citrus finish that leaves a little to be desired.

12 ounce can. straw yellow color. Large bubbly white head. Fragrant bready wheat malt nose has a nice citrus hop bouquet. Flavor is a mix of yeasty wheat maltiness and lemon peel. Grass hops appear in the midtaste. Light bodied with brief dry finish.

Lemon shandy meets saison meets wheat ale. Fairly Sharp, bright, crisp. Wouldn’t buy again
