UPDATED: DEC 3, 2015 0,33l bottle out of Beer Advent Calendar. Tastes unfresh, boring. Only lightly bitter, not typical for a Pils. Maybe I have got a bad one. Werckmeister (3180) - Vienna, AUSTRIA - NOV 11, 2015
0,33l green-glass bottle at home as "Schlägler Pils". BB 03/2016. clear shiny yellow color, small white head. smells grainy, a bit buttery / milky, cardboardish. not very convincing smell. light to medium body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes buttery, rather acidic, some grains, citric, a bit cardboardish. finishes very lightly bitter and with some cardboard and citric notes. not a fan, some off-notes, and the bitterness is unpleasant too. Bottle. Clear, golden body, with a nice big, creamy, rocky, white head, that leaves a lot of lacing. Aroma is fresh, with grains, grass, hay, bread. Taste follows this, full grainy, but also pretty hoppy, with a dry bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium, oily, with a moderate carbonation and it finishes bitter, dry and hoppy. Really nice! A clean, grainy and bitter-hoppy Pilsener, that is a bit more filling than others, because of the full flavour. Clearly one of the best Pilseners from Austria! joergen (28102) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUL 10, 2013

Half liter. Pours a nice brilliant gold with a white foamy head and nice bubble. Aroma is slightly oxidized with some fruitiness, herbal hops, and pils malt. Flavor is again, slightly stale, but it does retain a nice herbal hoppiness on the back end and a rich bready malt base. Slightly metallic with a good mineral water note.

Beautiful crystal clear yellow pour with a thin white head. Aroma is bready, grass, light malt, slightly sweet. Flavor is similar. A bit on the harsh metallic side. Grassy, slightly malty and metallic. Interesting. edgallow (4211) - nashville, Tennessee, USA - APR 6, 2013

500mL bottle. Poured slightly hazy medium golden with a short cap of off-white head. The aroma picked up semi-sweet bread and honey notes with accents of white spices and lemon zest.. clean, well-balanced, and enticing. The flavor found a slick base of honey and lesser bready notes with lemon zest and fresh hay accents.. finished with tangy hops over a little sweet malt. Lighter-bodied and nicely zesty on the palate.. low-ish carbonation.. nice one. Leighton (21231) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 13, 2012
Bottle at Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig, 2012, London. Pours hazy gold with a fine, white foam head. Monstruous sugar, caramel and cardboard in the nose. Big sweet flavor with more caramel and cardboard. Medium bodied wth fine to average carbonation. Sweet finish with more cardboard and some cereal. There is some mild enjoyment to be had here, but this is definitely not what a classic German pils ought to be like. Could be an unfresh bottle. fonefan (49293) - VestJylland, DENMARK - SEP 5, 2012
