COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Schlappeseppel Pils is a golden light beer of dry taste as it is not focused on a wide full-bodied malt taste but on the particular emphasis on the aromatic hop and bitter taste. These herbal and/or lemon flavours of the hops are perceived evoking the interplay between nose and palate.
Formerly was 4.8% ABV. Contains: water, barley malt, hops, hop extract. Brewed according to the Bavarian Purity Law from 1516.

Bright yellow color, almost transparent. Medium carbonation with a white foam which soon dissolves. Notes of malt on the aroma, cereals and herbs. Hints of caramel and malt on the taste. Hoppy dry finishing.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein goldgelbes Pils mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch herb, grasig, leicht getreidig. Geschmack startet bitter hopfig, grasig.

PeatyPete (1108) - NETHERLANDS - DEC 24, 2013
Straw yellow color with good white head. Aroma of malt and floral hops. Good pils with something too little depth.

Maria (10211) - Thisted, DENMARK - SEP 27, 2013
It’s golden with a white, creamy head. The aroma has notes of straw, malt and light flower. The flavor has a light sweetness and notes of malt, straw, light bread and flower, and the finish is slightly dry and bitter. Well balanced and nice.

Acid303 (674) - Barcelona, CATALONIA, - SEP 6, 2013
33cl bottle (5.1%). Pours light transparent golden with small white frothy head, no surprise. The aroma is typically Pils, nothing more to add. Pretty much the same regarding taste, with a really nice hoppy touch. Dry palate, spicy bubbles. Very well balanced and refreshing overall, even if simple.

Quack-Duck (9533) - Down South, GERMANY - JUN 19, 2013
bottle from pivnizub - diky! Clear pale yellow, large and promising white head with aromatic hops hovering above the glass. Light and elegant malty base, the hops are grassy, very slightly resiny and with a floral touch. So far the best from Schlappeseppel, really very pleasant.

DruncanVeasey (8283) - Nr NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - JUN 3, 2013
330ml bottle. Pale yellow with a dense and undulating white foam. Aroma of Madeira cake, almond and hay. Slight and drying with grass, herb and lemon-lime hints; some enamel-squeaking hop dry out, a trace of wine gum fruit to finish. Not bad.

2.8
stevoj (5567) - Boise, Idaho, USA - JUN 3, 2013
Nice looking pils, with medium creamy head and good lacing, clear golden body with spare carbonation. Aroma is normal pils malt, slightly musty. Taste is light malt and hops with abrupt finish. Looks good, tastes average.
