Schlappeseppel Special is brewed with special malts. These malts already contain caramelized sugar. About 60 % of the quality of this beer can be traced back to this harmonic flavour. The result is an amber-coloured, full-bodied, balanced beer.

Bullit (4637) - Burgos, SPAIN - NOV 15, 2015
Bottle from Carrefour. Clear golden coloured with a white head. Aroma is malty, grainy, some sweetness, grassy hops. Flavour is malty, grainy, bit of bread, bit of cardboard, very subdued hop bitterness, med-high carbonation. Finish is dry.

gueuze (954) - - OCT 28, 2015
Hellbraun, ganz ganz leicht trüb. Geruch malzig. Im Geschmack dann viel zu fruchtig. Kaum bitter im Abgang.

biir (1363) - Berlin, - OCT 12, 2015
Schlappeseppel eilt soweit ich weiß in der region ein kultiger ruf voraus. Das bier ist süffig, karamellig, malzig, leicht süßlich.

Benzai (15611) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - AUG 12, 2015
Bottle @ home. Clear golden color, average sized white to off-white head. Smell and taste malts, lightly a soft bitterness, hayish. Average to decent body and carbonation. Ok beer.

Idiosynkrasie (7533) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - JUL 2, 2015
330ml bottle [Thanx Gunnar!]. Clear amber colour with average to huge, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Expressionless, malty aroma, a touch of ammonia. Taste is doughy malty, hoppy overtones with hints of green apple parings. Industrial Märzen just ticking over.

bartholos (259) - GERMANY - JUL 1, 2015
Bottle. Dark yellow colored with a white frothy head. Aroma in the nose is dominated by malty notes of caramel and grain, however fruitier notes of berries and plum join in. Taste is mostly sweet with just a slight bitter finish. The body is medium with medium to high carbonation which makes the beer crisp even without noticeable bitterness.

Gangstergafje (1142) - Capelle aan den IJssel, NETHERLANDS - JUN 21, 2015
The beer pours a little amount of white foam. A thin foam layer stays on top of the beer. The color is beautiful. It is a fusion between light brown, amber orange and red. The color changes depending on the background being light ore dark. This looks very beautiful. The beer is very clear. The beer has quite a simple smell. It is the smell of pilsner/lager, but it is enhanced with some more sweetness. There is a minimal almond smell and alcohol aroma. Quit nice, but not extremely sophisticated. The taste is nice. The beer has quite a full body. The beer has a mouth filling sensation. The beer is nice and sweet. The almond of the smell is more present in the smell. The beer is quite refreshing. Very nice beer.

jamaty (2146) - Madrid, SPAIN - JUN 17, 2015
Dorada oscura. Espuma pobre, un dedo que desaparece en dos minutos totalmente. Aroma a malta dulzon. Sabor caramelo. Poco atractiva en conjunto, algo cansina.

Erasmus_ro (2945) - Alabama, USA - MAY 8, 2015
Bottle. Pours orange with a small, white head. Aroma is grainy, some honey, light grass. Taste is grain, honey, light cardboard, somewhat musty.
