COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Schlappeseppel Special is brewed with special malts. These malts already contain caramelized sugar. About 60 % of the quality of this beer can be traced back to this harmonic flavour. The result is an amber-coloured, full-bodied, balanced beer.

Clear light orange with small white foam head. Aroma is heavy barley with small sweet. Taste is bittersweet with yeast and alcohol tones, some grass. Aftertaste is short little bittersweet, barley again. (Velp 201212)

BlackHaddock (7346) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - NOV 4, 2012
33cl Flip-top bottle @ home on 4th Nov 2012, poured into a ’Good People’ badged straight sleeve. Dark gold with a good foam covering of white foam which wanted to leave as quickly as possible for some reason. Malty nose with roasted and toasted notes with a yeast twist as it warmed a little in the glass. Semi-sweet malty molasses rule the taste with a mini-hop finish that gives the beer a crisp bitterness towards the end of each sip. Nicely carbonated and easy to drink.

0,33 l swing top bottle. Shared some with McTapps. Definitely a good one. Slightly orange in colour with a small head. I had some aroma of chicken (?) In mind. Taste is a bit bitter but with a nice full body. A nice mixture of malt and hops. Has som character but is not beer for every night.

Both aroma and flavor have some malt and cereals; the body is soft and with light residual sugars. Correct bitterness. Not bad.
