Bottle. Pretty dark amber, offwhite cream. Light roasted caramel, a bit diaz, hay, slightly farty. Medium light body, mellow sparkly. Some hay and caramel, grassy herbal hop finish. Solid.

Bottle from Landbierparadies. Amber coloured with a slight white head. Bready malts, some apricot fruit and touch of chocolate, leading to a bitter finish. Good.

Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, darker than exspected, nice head. Starts mild, malty, with hints of caramel. Not too dry, modest sweetish. Well balanced finish. Not bad!

Copper with little white head. Aroma is foremost butter, herbs. Taste is buttery with some caramel, juniper. Not so harsh. Quite drinkable. Why not?

Bottled. An amber beer with an off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and a bit of nuts. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and nuts, but with an acidic edge, that makes the finish dry. Thanks Papsoe for sharing and Timo for bringing it to Denmark.

3.2
Kristall-König (2820) - Oldenburg, GERMANY - MAY 28, 2011
Sehr solide. Test vom 30.4.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche

Bottle @ Mega Bavarian Beer Tasting. Hazy, dark orange/brown appearance with an off white head. A bit bready, nutty, cracker/caramel aroma. A bit buttery, rich toffee, fairly light bodied, caramel/grassy flavor. Ehhh.
