Bottle at ChrisO "I’m Trying to see the Stool" pre GBBF2010 tasting. Bit of toast. It’s a bit metallic. Not a great pils. MiP (15960) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - MAY 9, 2009
Draught in Mürsbach. OK fruity aroma. Clear pale golden colour. The flavour is mildly bready with a little citrus. Big stable white head. Clean and mild. Quite süffig. bierkoning (13598) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - JUL 2, 2005
Bottle. Blonde and a bit hazy. Both looks and flavor are un-pilsener like. For Dutch and Norther German pilsdrinkers, that is. Very malty flavor with a good hop character and licorice. Just a bit of tropical fruit and licorice in the aftertaste. More a kellerbier as a pilsener, nevertheless a fine beer.
