omhper (25155) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - MAR 22, 2011
Bottled, thanks Bierkrug! Clear golden, rich firm head. Distinct grainy nose with spicy hoppiness. Firm meaty malt forms a slender body. Soft, yet with substance and backbone. Spicecd with generous amounts of spicy, oily hops. Distinct bitter finish. Well crafted pilsner with real character.

Maria (10212) - Thisted, DENMARK - JUN 6, 2010
It’s warm golden with a creamy, white head and the aroma has notes of malt, bread, flower, light straw and biscuit. The flavour has a moderately/light sweetness and notes of malt, light butterscotch, biscuit, light straw and the finish is slightly dry. It’s a very charming pilsner.

MoritzF (9901) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - AUG 26, 2005
(bottle) Clear and pale golden colour with a medium foamy white head. Floral hoppy nose with citrus and passion fruits and a bit of cake dough. Aromatic mouthfeel with malts and fruits and a fine floral and crispy dense hoppy finish. A very tasty brew.

pivnizub (10621) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - SEP 25, 2005
Bottle (bought at the brewery): Pale golden, thin white head, a bit sticking to the glass, hazy; spicy aroma of fresh hay with a tinge of resin; moderate bitter-sweet flavour; gentle hoppy-aromatic finish; light to medium bodied, smooth and gentle; quite right, pleasant and very well quaffable..........

Draught in Mürsbach. OK fruity aroma. Clear pale golden colour. The flavour is mildly bready with a little citrus. Big stable white head. Clean and mild. Quite süffig.

Ungstrup (37677) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - NOV 22, 2009
Bottled. A golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has strong notes of straw and malt and light notes of honey. The flavor has strong notes of straw, and malt, as well as medium notes of bread, sulphur, and hops, leading to a bitter finish. Thanks Papsoe for sharing and Timo for bringing it to Denmark.

KimJohansen (10492) - Frederiksberg C, DENMARK - NOV 23, 2009
Clear golden with a tiny white head. Malty aroma with grassy hops and mild caramel notes. Malty flavour with quite a few grassy hops. Finished quite bitter. Nice one.

bierkoning (13355) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - JUL 2, 2005
Bottle. Blonde and a bit hazy. Both looks and flavor are un-pilsener like. For Dutch and Norther German pilsdrinkers, that is. Very malty flavor with a good hop character and licorice. Just a bit of tropical fruit and licorice in the aftertaste. More a kellerbier as a pilsener, nevertheless a fine beer.

From the Bottle at Chris O’s pre GBBF tasting, Kensal Rise 31/07/2010 Hoppy floral aroma. Clear golden coloured hoppy and floral with a hint of dryness in a malt finish.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of Timo A. Pours yellow with a white head. Sweet and malty nose. Medium body, malt and a little metal in the finish. Dry if a little subdued bitterness. 221109
