Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of Timo. Clear yellow with a white head. Clean malts and flowery hops in the nose. Medium body, sweet clean malts, a little biscuity. Dry finish. 130909 pivnizub (10573) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - SEP 22, 2005
Bottle (bought at the brewery): Pale golden, firm, but thin white head; slight malty nose, a bit sourish, traces of cardboard; smooth, medium bodied (only 4.5% ABV !); slight malty flavour, some sweet traces; slightly sourish, malty and nearly not bitter finish; drinkable, but rather weak for a franconian hand-crafted beer........... (bottle) Clear yellow colour with a medium foamy white head. Quite similar to the Kaltenbrunner Pils with its floral and fruity malty aroma and taste. This one eventually has a bit more body, but is also a little bit sticky although it has less ABV. I prefer the more elegant Pils. bierkoning (13272) - La Tropica, NETHERLANDS - OCT 4, 2002
UPDATED: AUG 24, 2015 Malty, fruity, just a bit skunky aroma. Sweetish, malty taste with orange, apple and some late herbal hopbitterness.
Bottle, tasted 13 years and 4 months later. Blonde. Malty grassy flavor. Soft cellar notes, Shy aroma. Grassy. Hint of licorice in the finish. Not too bad.
