Jacksonville, Fl. - Kangaroo Convenience Store - somewhere off of I-295. Big, mean looking black 24 oz can. Light golden pour, with a pithy white head. Slight wet paper bag aroma with some grassy notes and a hint of alcohol. Flavor is not as deplorable as expected - this is not your Dad’s malt likkah from the ’70s. Some syrupy sweetness of course, but misses that that clenching texture and flavor that many MLs have. Hint of honey sweetness with a heavy alcohol back end. While not harsh - definitely not for the faint of heart or stomach. Like its moniker - VSL - all in all a very smooth lager. garrison (812) - Cin. city, Ohio, USA - DEC 23, 2008
Purchased from a ghetto market in Cincinnati, Ohio - Hey, ikt is ghetto male liqour marketed to the darker populace... did you expect it to taste good? NPRugby11 (219) - New York, USA - JAN 21, 2010
Has a bit of a fruity scent, clean taste with a bit of an alcohol aftertaste...not bad for a malt liquor Aurelius (5335) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - JUN 3, 2010
Sometimes, when you go to the ends of the earth to pick up a new rating, you come along treasures such as this. $3.49 per 4 pack of8.5% ABV tallboys. Aroma-wise, it actually smelled slightly Belgian. Good, rampant golden bull on the can. Latin inscription behind bull, adding class to the beverage and earning the appearance a solid 2. Lord knows I’m not going to pour this into a glass for fear of etching. Metallic, fuddled tasting - not too bitter. Medium body, musty aftertaste. Stands proudly with similar malt liquor offerings. 24oz can from stfun for FBW hunger games challenge. Thanks! Pours a clear gold with some fizzy white head. Aroma of some slightly rotton apples, grains, some cotton candy, and a little lakewater. It honestly kinda smells like one of the local apple orchards in the fall...weird. taste is light sweet. Cotton candy and fermenting green apples with a little cereal grain. Medium bodied with a slightly sticky but still quite smooth texture. Lively carbonation and a surprisingly long finish. Overall, not bad. Ive had much worse out of this catagory.

24 ounce can. Pours a clear medium golden color with a large white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of strong corn, grain, mild cider apples. The taste is even stronger corn, sugar and not much else. Medium bodied. They’re right, it drinks pretty smooth. luttonm (6282) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JAN 13, 2014
24oz can in Seattle. Relatively normal looking lager pour, white foamy head. Usual high test ML/heavy lager notes, sweet grain. Ugly sweetness throughout. Not as bad as most snoworsummer (5698) - baltimore, Maryland, USA - MAR 28, 2014
From a 24oz can. Pours very clear light amber with a thin, fizzy white head. Tastes like musky corn, sweet, dry. Light body and medium carbonation. Lots of lingering aftertaste. Smells like sweet grains and creamed corn. Definitely smooth. Travlr (24906) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - AUG 22, 2014
Bottle pushed by t0rin0 and womencantsail. Gorgeous pale straw color, silky white head. Aroma of corn fritters and two by fours. Taste is gorgeous two by fours. Shanebrews (293) - Virginia, USA - DEC 14, 2014
This malt liquor is, by my estimation, nothing more than the blue bull with more alcohol. It is unremarkable in aroma or appearance. The taste is sweet and grainy and the finish is less smooth than the best products in this class. I do not recommend.
