Red Bull is a strong and robust beer, brewed with special roasted malt to give the brew remarkable smoothness as well as a rich red colour to match its name.

This version sold in Canada only. The American version should be rated under Schlitz Red Bull.

Can. The following is a compilation of a dozen peoples’ thoughts who shared this brew with me at my first (and perhaps last?) Malt Liquor Dexterity Games Tournament to celebrate my birthday. Keeping in mind that most of the participants are not regular beer raters, here we go: Pale yellow, corny sweet cereal, wet paper, many mumbling mice fuck bulls another same sad gross brew no thanks taste like garbage juice seventh worst beer of the night ass-y taste underimpressive did not give me wings pancake syrup and gas in my beer.

710ml cna. This is now called red bull and brewed at city. A sort-of counterpart to the Candian marketed "Schlitz". This has really devolved up there huh. Its pours a clear pale gold. Though it is stronger than the regular schlitz or "Blue Bull" it si not as acetoney and vinegar/boozy. It instead smells light and floral with the main culprit here being griany sweetness though the familiar character of blue bull heightens as it warms. Teh flavor is sweet for a malt, but not offensive, very candylike sweetness which while it sucks it isn’t all that offensive. It has a far more barley-forward characteristic than your typical malt but it is abrasively sweet. Too sweet to be enjoyable.

UPDATED: NOV 17, 2015 I poured this shit out. Worst beer ever. WAAAAAY sweet, cloying even. Corn, apple, slimy repulsiveness

stronger than the base Red Bull, but not better. Got me drunk as a teen, but that’s about all. Not good in any sense.

710ml can. Poured clear gold with no head. Sweet grainy malt aroma with alcohol present. Medium-light body with a creamy-ish texture. Flavour of hay and pale malts with a peppery note.

Canned @ home, courtesy of blackipa. Fucken a bro, bro. Pours a clear, dark yellow appearance with an off white head. Spicy, quite carbonated, grape drank, herbal, somewhat strong aroma. Sweet malty, light veggie, chewy malty, bready, spicy flavor. Fairly drinkable, solid malt liqueur, and the booze is reigned in but it has this spicy element that I don’t particularly care for.

DietPepsican (1589) - @ $13.99, Iowa, USA - FEB 23, 2013
blackipa with the canadian garbage juice. Much thanks, my brother. Pours yellow like hulk hogans speedo. Flavor is yellow and red, a bit of leg drops, body slams, and brothers can be detected if you really look for it. This isn’t the NWO bitch, good beer for real americans.

Metalchopz (3674) - Cantley, Quebec, CANADA - NOV 2, 2011
Originally rated January 2006. Pours a golden colour with lots of tiny bubble carbonation. The foamy head disappears fast enough, and no lace is left. The stenchy nose resembles to the smell of beer fermenting after pitching the yeast. Pure watery mouthfeel. Also, taste close to water too... which is weird, considering the high alcohol content. Some sweet malt with a hint of sourness and apples. Slight corn comes in the aftertaste. Not really good, but just odd that this one is so light, at 7.1% ABV. Some might call this, "bullshit that is horrorbull".

A small part of a 710 ml can from TBS, served cold in a tulip glass.

App.: Clear golden with a nice white head. Aroma: Oddly sweet yet bitter, boozy and sort of fruity, a little biscuit, some acetone, solvent, fusel oils, is it a bit yeasty? Palate: Medium body, moderately full carbonation. Flav.: Oh, this ain’t right; a strange solvent sweetness, makes me think I’m drinking antifreeze: sweet but evil; sort grainy, fruity, cereals, fairly bad; sweet in an artificial sweetener kind of way with a little bitterness and a surprisingly non-boozy finish of vague sweet fruitiness and evil.

One whole gigantic can of this = one whole gigantic headache tomorrow.
