3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: MAY 25, 2017 Now, for your drinking pleasure, unavailable.
Well, it was either a Coors, a Bud, a Miller, a Pabst , a Hamms or, this one that still tastes like Schlitz, back then where there were these beers.
And we had sayings or rhymes that went with each, like, 2 Coors for 2 whores or Schlitz will give ya the shits; ya know, kinda stuff like that. I’m on my 3rd Schlitz now and so far, easy on it.
I keep athinkin’ "this is a brew that has a historic depth of taste to it" flavor. A beer that was drank without judgement other than enjoying it.
it may not be the best beer, but it’s still better that bud will ever be! PugUglyBrewer (791) - - JUL 21, 2017
Pale golden clear color with a lively head of white blanketing foam. Has a definite corn malt base with a moderate herbal hop snap. A good smash beer for sure. gripweed57 (2861) - Hamilton Square, New Jersey, USA - JUL 17, 2017
From old tasting notes. Bright medium gold color. Big bubbles lead to a creamy white head. Very light grainy malt nose with a hint of sour apple. Tart inoffensive malt/hop flavor. Some zest initially, but it fades quickly. Light dry finish. edgallow (4471) - nashville, Tennessee, USA - JAN 18, 2017

Originally rated on 9/19/08. Pretty average american macro, comparable to the buds, coors and millers of the world. Flavor of corn, a little malt and hops. Not the worst thing out there. dug_nichols (1) - Another Blank, Virginia, USA - MAY 28, 2016 does not count
This is the rebound of an ancient 60’s Classic. Gone is the ABM method that tanked this monolithic brew in the 80’s and 90’s. This brand has been re-re-born promising to echo yesterday-years greatness by embracing those Druidic incantations and magical utterances used prior to the greedy catastrophe. Not found in Virginia - yet - but soon...soon...soon tony2335 (1) - Illinois, USA - DEC 24, 2015 does not count
This is a real old fashioned great beer It wasn’t No 1 back in the 60’s for nothing!! Bacterial (3051) - Twin Cities, Minnesota, USA - NOV 24, 2015
Can sent to me as a joke, but I’m actually quite glad I got to try this! Pours clear light yellow with a lot of white foam that quickly disappears. Corny taste. Slightly earthy hop nose with a hint of butter in the nose. Metallic finish. Block (3183) - Indianapolis, Indiana, USA - AUG 27, 2015
I had this one in New Orleans. It’s a light beer and I thought it was kind of a joke. It’s bad.
