Embrouille (2854) - SWITZERLAND - JUL 10, 2008
Bottled 33cl. It pours a pale golden beer with a nicely lasting white head. Lively carbonation. The nose is musty, sulphury with notes of stale bread, vegetables, malt, lemon and hops. Oily. Sweet malty taste with notes of lemon. Low bitterness. Surprisingly full bodied for its style. Slight bitter finish. CH-303 (2407) - Fribourg, SWITZERLAND - JUL 1, 2008
Appearance: Light golden. Lots of head, longlasting.
Aroma: Fruit and hops.
Taste: Hoppy, bitter. Dry. Bitter aftertaste. Lemony?

Bottle. Super light yellow/straw color, good sized white head, small lacing. Aroma is of grainy, malty effervescence. Sharp lager like smell. Smooth flavor, not as stinging as some pilseners, but adequately crisp and dry. Very drinkable. In the grand scheme, it’s just decent, but for lighter lager types, this was good drinking beer. Bottle at Chaucer’s Pub in London, ON- Pale, pale yellow pour is topped with a fizzy and loud bleached white cap. Nose of grains and pale malts, floral hops, pepper and some lemon, but it is all very subtle. The taste is watery, grassy and diluted pale malts with a bit of the floral fro the saaz. Dry, prickly finish. This pils might have the distinction of being one of one of the least flavourful ones I have ever had. scanovajr (731) - Rio de Janeiro, BRAZIL - JUN 15, 2008
Bottled. A pale yellow beer with a white head. Aroma is grassy and malty. Taste is also malty and dry. Dry and crisp. Medium body

Clear yellow colored beer with a small lacing head. Aroma of floral hop and some pale malt. Flavour of hop, some malt and bottom-yeast. Smooth mouthfeel with a nice hop, but not a "hopfenkönig"...Pleasant dry aftertaste. Quack-Duck (9540) - Down South, GERMANY - MAY 27, 2008
bottle. Clear pale yellow, large and creamy head. Intensive hoppy nose. Crisp, fresh and pleasantly hoppy (grassy) with a malty background. There is a very very shy fruity sourness present. larsga (7677) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAY 17, 2008
Big shiny coarseish offwhite lasting head. Yellow body with carbonation. Grassy, peppery hop aroma with notes of straw and rye. Dry grassy, peppery taste with a light, subtle sweetness. Straw and rye aftertaste with perhaps a little acidity. Clean and harmonic. Traces of sulphur. Nice, but given the name they could use more hops. (0.2l draft at dahoam im bruderhof, Salzburg.) Tranquillity (2567) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 14, 2008
Bottled. Probably one of the worst beers in Austria. Doesn’t smell too good, like Carlsberg & Co. TAste quite clean, maybe some hops. Harsh. Very pale body, citrus colour. FatPhil (17334) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - FEB 10, 2008
UPDATED: MAY 2, 2012 330ml bottle. Shared by Tranquillity - thanks! (3:2:3:2:5=1.5)
Pale gold, thin head. Grassy, lime and lemonade aroma. Taste is that of a harsh and a drying hop extract.

Sweet, mashy, and very grainy aroma. This is a better Pils than the usually very solid Plevna one we had earlier (could be down to time-of-day "inflation" though) - it’s more pils-like for a start. Fresh certainly. Lightish, slightly hazy, nice head - tight and white. Finish has nice grains that Anna in particular likes. Phil does get something metallic from it. So it’s almost a complete change from the bottle we had, but still not perfect.
