thinner beer, but still overly sweet and not very complex. don’t care for either, but might take this one over the stronger version in a pinch. digopossobon (390) - MACAE, BRAZIL - SEP 21, 2014
Novamente a carbonatação e o alcool aparecem bastante.
O retrogosto é amargo em boa medida e bastante seco. DonPiano (79) - GERMANY - SEP 16, 2014
Amber colored beer with a clear whites head. Tastes like a nice bread crust with a pleasant sweetness. It leaves a bad aftertaste and it has a watery feeling Necscv (22) - Houston, Texas, USA - JUL 28, 2014
No smell, color is dark yellow, not appealing in color. Tastes very simple, now tastes of whiskey, bread, wheat. No aftertaste. Geiserich (4499) - Linz, AUSTRIA - JUL 24, 2014
Bottle: Aroma with malt, grain, caramel, grassy hops. Clear amber color, white head. Flavor is malty, light notes of cookies, honey. Pretty boring. Light bitterness in the end.

330 ml bottle bought at Fürstenberg in Tsuen Wan.
Clear amber honey colour; One-quarter finger head with soapy white foam which fades in 20 seconds; Small sticky lacing with very fizzy carbonation; Aroma of amber malt, with potent whiskey, light smoke, molasses, caramel, musty, light bread and faint grass; Mid to light sweet taste of amber malt, with light smoke, thin liquor, caramel, molasses notes, light earth, dry bread, faint lemon and shades of grassy hops; Close to light body, dry and thin palate; Mouth feel is pretty full amber malt in a rather light body, with strong dry caramel licks like a ESB. Light sweet, some initial liquor and smoky tastes that faded quickly. Quite bready all the way. As empty as typical Amber lager can be. Sigh… Hoppiness is faint grass nose, very thin lemon and grassy taste; Bitterness in very low-fi for a very thin and abrupt grassy astringent finish; Dry after taste, quite easy and bready to mouth.
Comments: This one used to be at abv 7.3%? I wish it should been kept that way because without stronger booze - whiskey-like or not - this is just another average Amber Lager. Throw in a bit of smoky peated malt aroma and faint taste isn’t enough to make it decent. The musty nose is quite annoying. Better than most macro Amber Lagers, but that’s not good enough. Meh!
Pretty terrible really, not sure why they bothered to make it. The one good thing about it i guess is it looks clear. Beerhunter111 (20362) - P´Castle, GERMANY - MAR 21, 2014
Bernsteinfarbenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch leicht röstmalzig, Karamell, fruchtig. Geschmack röstmalzig süß, fruchtig, Karamell. motelpogo (7704) - Plzen, CZECH REPUBLIC - FEB 28, 2014
bottle, thanks baerwaldt - must admit i didn’t realise at the time that there was a newer version of this. alas, it resembles the old one - amber, cheap whisky aroma, rough sweaty malt with raw sweetness budedou (964) - Saint Etienne, FRANCE - FEB 4, 2014
mauvaise bière.... Pas de gout, fade, pas interessante...
