(11,2 fl oz bottle) 2012 Advent Calendar. Pours a thin white frothy head atop a clear dark amber. Nose of corn and wet wood. Flavour is watery, grassy some canned corn. Not great. DuffMan (10436) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - DEC 7, 2012
Bottle, Dec 6th Beer Advent Calendar. Medium toffee amber colour, clear, with a fizzy off-white head that collapses quickly and leaves no lace. Aroma is corn syrup and light caramel. Grainy palate with a splash of caramel and toast. A little harsh actually. Watery. This was the first major fail from this little box ’o joy. I knew I’d hit a shitty one sooner or later! presario (4916) - Stampede City, Alberta, CANADA - DEC 6, 2012
Dec 6 CBAC. I’ve had the 7% but this is the 5%. Amber with a fair head. A little frougher and fruitier than an I&G. Comes across a bit boozy and lacking in malt or smoothness to stand up to the spirit. Reimer96 (1743) - Alberta, CANADA - DEC 6, 2012
Pours a clear copper color with a small white head that dissipates into a small ring. Aroma is vienna malts, bread and caramel. Taste is malty caramel and biscuit up front with a very light bitterness tingle on the end. The beer smells big and taste big up front then just gets rather thin. pintbypint (3642) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - DEC 6, 2012
330ml brown bottle. Gold coloured brew, clear. White head with fine bubbles, a bit of lacing. Nose has sweet malts, bready notes. Taste has grains, bread and a touch of caramel sweetness. Finishes with medium graininess, touch of toasted grain and faint noble type hops. Average body and carbonation. Pretty simple vienna, drinkable, not very challenging. Barely any trace of whisky malt.

.33l bottle I poured into a small shot-wine glass. deep orange, sour nut aroma. sweet and sour funks like many traditional mid range lagers. It isn’t bad, but it ain’t good. This is a nice drinker but far from jumping out of second class. I can’t conceive of a customer who would be buying this regularly. It taste better, but flavor and price are not enough. so what is this beer going after? vipinvelp (4438) - Velp, NETHERLANDS - OCT 26, 2012
Cloudy orange yellow with fast dissapearing foam head, so fast couln’t tell color. Aroma is weak barley, taste is not what the bottle promisses, very little taste. Similas weak aftertaste. (Velp 201210) reebtogi (6277) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - OCT 26, 2012
330ml bottle pours a pale amber color with a 2 finger white head that has decent retention and leaves some decent lacing on the glass. Aroma is cereal grains and grass. Taste is grainy malt sweetness with a grassy bitterness. Light bodied with modest carbonation. Nothing special here just like most macro lagers. VictorConti (6) - MEXICO - OCT 19, 2012 does not count
Benjii (3049) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - OCT 13, 2012
In bottle at Craig’s. Pours a golden colour with a fair white head. Aroma of caramel, toffee, yeast and alcohol. Similar flavours with moderate carbonation and an oily mouth-feel.
