IrishBoy (4240) - Bakersfield, California, USA - NOV 12, 2012
330ml bottle from Beer Revolution. Nose is a tiny bit of dried apricot mixed with some toffee, a hint of Galliano liqueur , and a light breadiness. Lightly hazed yellow orange with a small off white head. Flavor is lots of malt with alcohol, and a tiny bit of bitterness. Drinkable but no way my favorite dopplebock.

An austrian, golden Dobbelt Bock with low head. Aroma is malt, caramel. Taste is bitter and light sweet. Vineous. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A strong urbock with enough qualities to make (and keep) you happy and warm. Roasty and sweet.

UPDATED: NOV 29, 2017 Dourada, quase cobreada, porém translúcida. pouca espuma, porém cremosa, malte caramelo, lembra conhaque, com retrogosto seco. un pouco licorosa. ótima experiência

Clear. Darker golden. Not a lot of head. Aroma is soil. Taste is lots of overly sweet malt with some dark fruits. Not great.

Bottle @ home. From some Italian grocery. Cellared for three years. Amber color and a small white head. Aroma is sweet, fruity, malty and very grainy. Notes of grain, dough , caramel, rye bread, nuts and caramel. Medium to big body. Good duration. Sweet taste, malty with red fruits, dark fruits, caramel, toffee, milk chocolate, herbs. Balanced bitterness, dry finish with lingering dry fruits.

Kolor herbaciany, piana dość szybko znika. Aromat słodowy, smak podobnie lekko ostry. Przeciętny podwójny koźlak

UPDATED: NOV 28, 2017 Pours dark amber with slight head. Aroma is dried fruit, spice and wood. Taste is plum, sweetbread and clove. Smooth aftertaste. A very tasty beer, but aroma seems to be a mismatch for the flavor. Still a good choice.

Bottle at home. Taste is sweet, malt and spiced finish, quite good, not my favourite in the style
