Pours gold from the bottle. Foamy white head that slowly fades. Aroma is straw and quite metallic. Taste is a bit better: a simple, clean crisp but mild bitterness sets the tone but is otherwise unremarkable. A light fruitiness plays out going into the finish. Overall, the metallic notes drag this one down for me.

Can from Santa. Pours a clear yellow color with a large white head. A big sweet toast and vanilla nose. Oddly metallic, toast, corn, pils malt, bitter. Not great.

My first rating from the Kalea Advent beer calendar - this was an overall enjoyable Euro-macro-pilsner, phenomal bright golden color with a solid foamy crown that lasted the whole pint, shimmery lacing to match. Grassy noble hop aroma, par for the style, with some honeywheat bready malt. The macro notes come out in the flavor unfortunately, with the hoppiness taking on a metallic accent and the honey malt turning into an adjunct sweetness. Some sour herbal hoppy bitterness in the finish, with a touch of hay or straw. Decent for a generic macro lager.

Can from Advent calendar. A: Clear gold with a thin white head. Light lacing. N: Corn, sulfur, minerality, green grape, lots of coriander, floral elements. Lots of dirt with more stoniness. T: Very mineral with lots of malt and some flowers and haybarns. M: Light body, no alcohol, soft carbonation. O: Decent enough. Similar to the Helles but a bit cleaner.

Can from the Kalea German beer advent calendar. Clear pale gold lasting white head. Lemon hop herb aroma. More of the same in the mouth. Creamy mouthfeel. Some bitter lemon on the finish. Fresh lemon flavour on finish. I thought pretty decent. Light pepperyness.

December 1 can from Costco advent pack. Colour...clear gold with a frothy ecru head. Nose...metal, old spent grain and rank bedstraw. Palate...pretty much the same as the aromas but had to taste it. Yuck!

Very pale straw colour. Thick white head and a very faint haze. Slight haze. Has a touch of grassy aroma and a very fresh herbal hop aroma. There’s a bit of straw and some lingering hay flavour. Nicely bready and a bit crackery. Pretty clean and tasty.

Bouteille 330 ml. 4.9%. Jaune paille, mousse blanche qui adhère aux parois du verre. nex de céréales croquantes et houblons. En bouche, croustillante et fraîche. Houblon florl et un peu trerreux, ça descend tout seulé
