Draught @ T-Anker, Prague. Pours golden with a white head. Sourish green apply nose. Apple flavor. Tart. Off crossovert (14146) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUN 6, 2011
500ml bottle, mindestens haltbar bis: 04.01.12. It seems to be a spring Märzen beer.
The pours is a deep, clear lightbrownish/gold. The head is off-white and leaves some ok lacing as it recedes.
The smell is pleasant, if simple. It is mostly bready with a kick of herbal, earthy hops.
The flavor is also very earthy. There is a hint of metallic flavor and nuts. It has a bit of herbal hoppiness to finish it off.
This is an interesting Märzen if there ever was one. It doesn’t seem off, but intriguingly different.

Bouteille: Deep golden, clear, loose white head; mild nose of vegetables, grains and some molecular traces of toasted malt; light sweetish-bitter flavour, ridiculously light bodied for a Märzen and really not soft; slightly lingering sweetish-bitter finish with vegetables and metallic traces. Brynda… Maria (10211) - Thisted, DENMARK - FEB 26, 2013
It’s slightly hazy dark amber with a creamy head. The aroma has notes of caramel, malt and light fruit and straw. The light to moderately sweet flavor has notes of caramel, malt, fruit, and straw towards the rather dry finish. MoritzF (10199) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - AUG 19, 2014
(bottle) Clear, amber colour with a mid-sized, slightly off-white foamy head. Slightly bready malty aroma with hints of caramel, delicately herbal hops and a shy whiff of sulfur. Mildly sweet flavour, rather light bodied, despite its abv of 5.9%, moderately carbonated mf. A tad slim cara-malty base with delicately biscuity notes and shades of herbal hoppy spice in the background; moderately sweet and restrained bitter hoppy finish with a tinge of caramel in the aftertaste. Okay. 15.VIII.14
