(.5L bottle best by 6-7-11 thanks to blutt59) very pale yellow, few white bubbles. Nose of dirty water, earth, butter, and cracker. Taste of butter, dry, cream, cracker and a creamy finish. Not good.

Ok.Test vom 16.11.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche

Thanks to blutt59 for sharing this bottle. We can always count on Bob to share the rare German beers. The beer pours a pale yellow color with a white head. The aroma is heavy on the wheat with a little bit of pilsner malt mixed in. The flavor is wheat with some dry malt and a little bit of toffee. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

bottled, thanks to erlangernick in trade, clear golden color, really nice clean sweet fruit and minerals, dry finish

hopscotch (11410) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - FEB 19, 2011
Bottle... February in Franconia (2011)… Clear yellow lager with a mid-sized, fizzy, white head. Good retention. The nose is of honey and white pepper. Medium-bodied with lively carbonation. The flavor is light biscuit and honey accompanied by snappy hop bitterness. Crisp, clean finish. As it turns out, this was a great accompaniment to Broken Barrel’s smoked bbq ribs. Thanks go out to erlangernick and Koelschtrinker for making this month of Franconia lagers possible!

Thanks Björn!
Golden yellow-color, small white head. Plastic, sweet malty aroma. Sweet malty, grassy hoppyness, slightly buttery. Decent hoppy bitterness.
