Marstonlad (1009) - Helsinki, FINLAND - AUG 24, 2017
UPDATED: SEP 4, 2017 Bottle @ Bistro Organic, Munich airport. Pours reddish brown with a medium-sized frothy head. The aroma features sweet maltiness, ripe fruitiness and a touch of spiciness. Taste is medium sweet, fruity and wheaty. Fairly rich, sweet flavour with fruity nuances such as banana appearing alongside wheaty maltiness. The palate is medium-bodied, smooth and low to average in carbonation. Nice sweet dark wheat beer.

Bottle. Hazy copper to brown colour with a relatively large tan head, nose is yeasty, fruity and slightly roasty and malty with notes of banana bread, toffee and dried plums, taste is sweet, only slightly tart and a bit boozy with hardly any bitterness in the finish and a very mellow mouthfeel.

Kauge (2133) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - APR 30, 2016
Bottle at a bio café in Munich airport.; BB 08.2016. Pours murky coppery colour with light beige head. The nos is pretty nice banana and toffee, albeit rather faint and not without a hint of bandaid. Tastes above medium sweet with mellow toasty notes, and the aforementioned banana and toffee flavours. A hint of bandaid in the finish though... Medium full body with rather active but soft carbonation. Reminds me to have Dunkelweizens more often (but preferrably better ones).

Kampfar (297) - Osnabrück, GERMANY - MAR 29, 2016
From 0.5L bottle. Aroma: yeast, wheat and slightly roasted. Pours light brown, murky with an off-white head. Taste: slight fruity and sweet initial taste, wheat. Very slightly roasted flavor. Light bitter, fruity finish with average duration. Medium bodied with high carbonation.
