500ml bottle bought at Great Food Hall in Pacific Place, Admiralty.

Murky straw amber honey colour with some yeast sediments; Half finger head with soapy off-white foam which fades in 30 seconds; Poor sticky lacing and near zero carbonation; Fragment aroma of moderate malt, with strong wheat and tartness, strong banana, strong caramel, vanilla, sugar, light cream, strong ester, strong cloves, spices, yeast, light lemon and grass; Close to light sweet taste of light malt, with strong wheat, moderate tartness, strong mashed banana, caramel, phenolic, strong cloves, light spices, strong yeast, lemon and moderate bitter grass hops; Close to medium body. Dry and quite slick palate; Mouth Feel is richer malt than most weiss, strong wheat to the tongue despite relatively low tartness. Very strong and pretty tasty banana and caramel, as with herby clove taste. That weiss yeast is quite unique and something special. Cool!... Hoppiness is lemon and moderate grassy hops in nose and stronger in taste. Bitterness is considerably stronger than most weiss for a lasting, fairly-low astringent finish; Quite dry after taste. Estery and fairly bitter to mouth.

Comments: This one has a pretty poor looks and heads to speak of, but the weiss yeast really opens up my senses: despite its small amount in the bottle, it provides some very fruity and pleasant banana and spicy cloves in aroma and taste. If they fixed the head retention and have more yeasts, this one could top. I’m quite amazed by it but still I expected more.
