Pours a nice, clear golden chestnut with a small, frothy, off-white head. Becomes a thin film rather quickly. Sweet aroma of caramel and softly roasted malts. Highish carbonation, slightly thin mouthfeel. Flavour is sweet, some sugar, rye bread, softly roasted malts. Light chewy finish. Perhaps a slight bit too sweet for me despite a fair, grassy hops finish.
Clear dark amber with a medium beige head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, caramel and breadish notes. Sweet flavour with roasted malt, caramel, breadish and mild hops. Finished sweet. bottleman (14) - Idar-Oberstein, Rhineland-Palatinate, GERMANY - JAN 2, 2010
