Pours a dark amber brown colour with a creamy white head. Aroma of toasted malts, caramel and chocolate cookie. Flavour of toasted malts, nuts, chocolate, caramel and bread. Low bitterness. Medium bodied, smooth mouthfeel and a rich malty finish with some toffee. Very tasty.

Bottle by 30.10.12. Nose of light toffee and earth, touch of mocha and roast. Pours dark ruby with a rocky tan head. Light roast wins the taste, fades to a subtle ashen finish, moderately dry with chocolate and a light tang. Crisp medium body with subtle hopping and a little grit. Clean.

Nice chocolatey dunkel. Pours dark brown with thin beige head. Aroma of dark wood, roast grains and cafe au lait. taste is chocolate, oak, coffee, and burnt toast. Lingering bitterness on the palate is also semi sweet. Very delicious!
