glennmastrange (2871) - hobe sound, Florida, USA - JUN 29, 2016
UPDATED: JUN 29, 2016 Bottle. Moderate roasted grain for the malt, light grass for the hops, and light dough for the yeast, with spice and metal in the background. Head is large, frothy, off-white with fair lacing and is mostly diminishing. Color is clear light brown. Flavor starts lightly sweet and slightly acidic, then finishes slightly sweet, acidic and bitter. Palate is medium, slick with a lively carbonation. A nice easy drinking Dunkel.

On tap. Pours an almost clear dark amber golden with a dense off-white head. Sweetish - almost perfumy - caramel aroma. Medium body, some roasted malt but otherwise dominated by fairly sweet burned caramel, somewhat bonbonish. Hardly any bitterness. 281110

yngwie (17053) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - FEB 6, 2011
On tap at The Wharf. A clear, dark amber beer with a small, off-white head. The aroma has a buttery, caramel touch and some slightly sour malts. Dry in the mouth, medium to full body. Nice carbonation. Caramel, dms, pale malts and a pleasant hoppyness in the flavor. Good bitterness in the finish. Far from impressing, but it drinks easily and is quite tasteful. 101020

ganache (5908) - New Jersey, USA - JUL 13, 2012
Bottle by 30.10.12. Nose of light toffee and earth, touch of mocha and roast. Pours dark ruby with a rocky tan head. Light roast wins the taste, fades to a subtle ashen finish, moderately dry with chocolate and a light tang. Crisp medium body with subtle hopping and a little grit. Clean.

3.2
Grima (2394) - Merzkirchen, RLP, GERMANY - JUL 25, 2012
The beer in the glass is ruby red with flat, short-lived head. It smells malty-roasted, subtly bitter and slightly raisiny. Starts with subtle toasty aromas, sweet malt notes, in the background slightly bready. The middle part is malty-bitter, very roasty and bready with some caramel. Goes into a malty-bready finish, with sweet grain notes, caramel and roasted malts!

Hildigöltur (5104) - København, DENMARK - NOV 8, 2005
