Tap @ Zum Schlüssel, Düsseldorf. Pours cola with a good, off-white head. Aroma is grainy and malty. Taste is malty and grainy. Not so much dark bread, some grass, slight sulphur. Slightly thinner than Uerige or Schumacher.

UPDATED: AUG 25, 2016 One of the better altbeers but not that appealing to me... Could be better a bit to bitter. Not that light and sweet like other altbier from Düsseldorf

adamnowek (2709) - Brussels, BELGIUM - APR 18, 2016
Dark chestnut colour with a soapy head. Aroma is burnt toast. Taste is roasted chestnuts and malts, but it’s ultimately a bit thin. Not the best.

King_Alex_II (1228) - SWITZERLAND - DEC 30, 2015
UPDATED: AUG 18, 2016 Clear ruby brownish color with thin foam head. Light nutty nose. Mild earthy taste with a discreet carbonation and a smooth mouth feeling. The aftertaste is calm and worthy.

Mittelding zwischen Schumacher und Uerige. Röstmalz und Karamell, dazu Brot. Hopfen minimal vorhanden. Insgesamt in Ordnung.
