Beerhunter111 (23757) - Beerland, GERMANY - OCT 1, 2016
On tap at the brewpub. Klare orange braune Farbe, mittelgroße beige schaumkrone. Geruch leicht röstmalzig, würzig hopfig. Geschmack ist mild rauchig, röstmalzig, wenig Schinken, würzig hopfig, interessant!

ElDesmadre (4356) - Mikołów, POLAND - FEB 9, 2015
Draught at the brewpub. A toasted, malty beer with notes of yeast and banana, as well as some marginal sulfury notes in the finish. Simple and tasty brew.

Erzengel (9892) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - MAY 18, 2014
Amber in the glass. The beer starts malty with hints of roasted bitterness. Not too dry, smooth and characterful. Malty-bitter in the end with a roasted undertone. Fruity with hints of prune and dark cherries. Nice Alt. 12/12/13/13

Mariusz (12352) - Baden-Baden, GERMANY - MAR 17, 2014
Poured copper in color with a medium head. Nice hoppy aroma with some carmel overtones.

ThirstyBird (3026) - Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - NOV 25, 2013
Pours a deep amber color with a tan head that falls to a light cover. The smell is roasty malt, mild fruit and hops. The taste is rich malt, tart fruit and a dry finish. Light+ body with soft carbonation...very smooth.

fiulijn (21522) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 7, 2013
Draught at the brauhaus
Dark amber color, clean, with creamy head. The aroma is malty, with a hint of smoke, and light earthy impression. The flavor is malty, with caramel and delicate smoke; clean and lean; good bitterness level; just a bit metallic in the end.
Excellent Altbier.

omhper (26030) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - NOV 11, 2012
Draught at the brewpub. Clear brownish amber, small head. Mildly earthy nose. Salty and very mildly smoky with clean, rounded mouthfeel. Compared to their masterpiece - the kellerbier, this is more restrained flavourwise, more clean. Lightly earthy with salty bitterness. A good altbier in its own right.

kiwianer (3428) - Otorohanga, NEW ZEALAND - MAY 28, 2012
Test vom 20.10.2008, Gebinde: Fass Noten: 13,11,11,11,-,11 - 11,21

yespr (49162) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - SEP 12, 2011
From tap at the brewpub. Pours clear and golden orange to brown with a small off-white head. Aroma is mild fruity, citrusy and toasted malty. Toasted malty, light fruit and slight bitter. Light malt finish.

Koelschtrinker (22488) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - MAY 11, 2011
