Marduk (8838) - Reval, ESTONIA - FEB 15, 2018
500ml bottle (Alko, Kittilä). Clear dark amber color. Medium size, beige head, stays. Malty, herbal hops, faint caramel in aroma. Sweet, malty, herbal hops, roasted grains in taste. Herbal hops and malty in aftertaste. Medium carbonation. Drinkable brew. Came back to give more points because didn't notice 8% abv. Hopping is nice too.

This is a beautiful bock. Those who are giving it a poor rating are probably not familiar with what a bock should be. There are wonderful toasted malt flavors with multiple depths, just the right amount of sweetness to balance the subtle bitter hops. When we take the price into consideration, this is about as good as a bock can get.

Aukedebier (44) - KAUTTUA, FINLAND - OCT 20, 2017
Bought at Alko in Säkylä, in a 0,5L bottle. Appearance; golden amber beer with slightly off white head, which slowly disappears. Nose; some fruity notes with light malts. Taste; malty and fruity, some rosé whine and a lot of sticky-ness. Not so much rosé as I expected, still really a malty beer. The 8% alcohol is well hidden. Quite a pleasant beer actually. Typical a one night stand beer; you only drink one of those in one evening.

Holmen1 (6754) - Stavanger, NORWAY - JUN 15, 2017

3.2
Quack-Duck (9550) - Down South, GERMANY - JUN 8, 2017
