Dark copper colour, frothy off-white head, a very nice presentation. My first stab at a Heller Bock, this one might not be representative for the style though? I thought this was a great beer, aroma was fruity and hoppy and some malts. Great bitterness in the taste coupled with a bit a sweetness, very good! ganache (5853) - New Jersey, USA - MAY 5, 2012
Bottle by 27.02.13. Malty white grape nose. Vivid red-orange body, clear with a fizzing tan head (very unusual looking, especially unusual for a bock). Taste is hot and boozy but not reigning fire, the malt is a little grainy and sort of suppressed, full body but with weak carbonation. Just sort of thick. Semi sweet with place-jumping spicy hops, pervasive ghostly honey. I’d say this is something of a dreary Middle German take on a Polish Strong Lager; it’s not flawed in the way an offensive beer might be, but just way too simple for 8.0%, and I actually found entertainment in focusing on the complexity of all the different higher-order alcohols this dulled rocket fuel holds. Truth be told, I’d have it again. kevnic2008 (11980) - Baden-Baden, GERMANY - APR 30, 2012
Clear golden body with a medium creamy white head. Sweet toasty and honey maltiness with a dry lightly bitter finish. Beerhammaren (1792) - Jyväskylä, FINLAND - MAR 10, 2012
Beautiful copper color; low head. Aroma is weak. Some hops and malts. Huge amount of alcohol. Flavor is the same. Boring beer. Marsiblursi (3076) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JAN 29, 2012
(Bottle) Pours amber. The aroma holds caramel, grass and alcohol. The flavour is medium bitter with notes of caramel, bread, grassy/spicy hops and mild alcohol. The mouthfeel is clean. Medium bodied.

500 ml bottle in Germany. A Bock trying to at like a Belgium Strong Ale. It pours an amber color, with a rich creamy head that lasts a good while. Aroma is malt, cloves and citrus. Taste is alcohol, fruity, sweet, cherries and caramel. Ok Marko (5640) - Split / Zagreb, CROATIA - OCT 9, 2011
Bottle from an Alko (because I thought I could get to it the other day and I wanted something simpler to drink with friends, so I laid off buying Nøgne Øs. guess what happened). Anyway, drunk by the Aura, so I’ll take people’s word that it was copperish. The nose was straightforward grainy malty. Sweet too. Ordinary sweetish, slightly fruity bock. I might have expected something more (if not necessarily better) reading the "Rosé" moniker. Got nothing much really. cgarvieuk (24230) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - AUG 29, 2011

Bottle from Maruhn, Darmstadt
Beautiful copper color; generous head. Both aroma and flavor are poor, with just light cereals; the alcohol presence is a bit too evident; the body is just rounder than a common Lager. Boring.
