16.9 oz bottle - Pours dark amber with almost no head and some big floaters, though I tried to pour carefully. It smells of yeast, caramel malt, and alcohol. The taste is sweet and caramelly with mild alcohol presence and a hint of spice. Some hops turns up in the finish. It’s good, but I wasn’t quite as impressed with it as many have been. Maybe I’ll have to have it again sometime and reconsider. SudsMcDuff (8469) - .....Manchester United.........., Texas, USA - NOV 16, 2006
This is a real treat..i had the chance to get this but let it slip, not this time, and it was worth the wait, pours a murky brown colour, everlasting headf ring, good lacing, now THIS IS A WHEAT, sweetness on the lips, and a beutiful bitterness. i drank it really cold and let it warm up, i suggest the same, this rocks! asmithbeer (71) - California, USA - NOV 14, 2006
Dark amber brown color with nice fizzy head. Aroma is a bit sour but fruity. Flavor has nice malty flavor. Good Beer. mfincher (15) - Wills Point, Texas, USA - NOV 13, 2006
Pours with a red tint with a nice head. Very fruity with quite a kick. It made a believer in wheat beer. bdjames29 (273) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - NOV 11, 2006
Bottle. I had to get into it a bit before I really appreciated it - had to work my way past the over-ripe bananna element. Pretty beer with a natural appearance. Not overly smooth, a bit choppy, but not necessarily in a bad way. A very different beer for me as I have not had many weizen bocks. This will take some further inspection.

UPDATED: NOV 11, 2006 Bottle. Looks sort of like a trappist beer, although it is not nearly as opaque. Aroma of cherries and citrus fruit, fairly vinous and the alcohol is very present. A big bitter adrenaline rush ends in a muted mish-mash of nuts, banana, spices, and grapes. A nice silky texture keeps this one well balanced, although it is a bit underwhelming.

Poured the color of muddy water. A nice head with lacing that lasts. There is spice to the nose and caramel hints. Caramel hints with clove and fruit. Very smooth on the palate and last on the linger. emacgee (4704) - Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA - NOV 8, 2006
UPDATED: SEP 23, 2007 Poured a transparent, hazy, reddish, brown brew. The head is very very thick, light tan, but quickly receding. The aroma was spicy and sour. Tasted acidic, sour, spicy, and hints of banana. The palate was very nice and crisp. Went down warm (probably bc of alcohol). The alocohol actually adds more to the beer as it warms. lgklotet (432) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - NOV 6, 2006
Bottle. The best of two worlds here... Really thick malts and a hefty bit of German weizen all rolled into one.. This will become a regular. nijuro (63) - USA - NOV 5, 2006
caramel apples, bananas, cloves and a nicely sweet finish. not too bitter, but it’s there, along with some nice warmth.
