4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a clear bronze with 1 finger creamy head that persists. No lacing, but a beautiful pour. Bready and yeasty with some banana and maybe a little clove in it. Mild herbal hoppy flavor to it. Sweet flavor up from that actually has a biting tartness to it as well. Medium to full-bodied with creamy, not overly effervescent carbonation. Smooth, medium creamy finish. This is a very good Hefe.
Bottle. Dark orange/yellow with a rather small head for a Weizen. Aroma of clove and lemons. Taste is clove and wheat with spicy, herbal and floral hops. Bitter oranges but not that much banana. Long lasting bitter finish. Strong carbonation. Medium bodied. Refreshing and very balanced. Schneider just knows how it's done. NallePalle (685) - Uppsala, SWEDEN - OCT 17, 2017
Bottle, 50 cl (thanks, Wilmar). Pleasant and refreshing, some hints of sour finish. Bill Becker (1369) - Casper, Wyoming, USA - OCT 16, 2017
From Nov 2005
Poured a clear* medium gold with a fairly large head that subsided a bit after a few minutes. *Until I poured in the sediment, then it was a nice, cloudy, bottle fermented organic hefe as advertised.
The smell was of cloves and some fruit, mainly bananas, but it also had sour notes.
The taste consists of some clove, wheat(duh), and more of the sour that I mentioned. The bottle has some numbers on it, which I assume are some code for the date: 04-231 1-2
Overall, even if this ends up being an old sample, I like it and I will drink it again.
Edit: I've had a few samples since my initial review and I have to say, the more I've tried, the better I like it. The clove and banana notes just hit my palate just *so* right, it's scary.

Bottle. Nose is clove, banana, hoppy, faint citrus, vanilla. Taste is bubble gum, banana, cloves, leading to a bitter lemon, grapefruit hop note, leading to vanilla and banana and cream. Thick Mouthfeel. Very nice. Daboch (104) - Gdansk, POLAND - OCT 10, 2017
Ładnie prezentujące się piwo, żółte nieprzezroczyste z dość wysoką pianą. Aromat owocowy, pewnym zaskoczeniem jest mały udział bananów. Smak lekko kwaskowaty, owocowy, dość intensywny. Ciekawe piwo

Slightly bitter aroma for a Weiss, with strong hops, citrus and grass.
Pours cloudy amber/ golden with frothy white head which disappears quite rapidly.
Taste is banana and clove with stronger than normal hop and citrus. Leaves a sour and salty aftertaste.
Not your usual weisse but drinkable nonetheless (certainly not what I'm used to). Schneider usually do great weiss biers but this is slightly below par in my opinion compared to their other offerings. amikhaylov (118) - Moscow, RUSSIA - OCT 5, 2017
Good weisse. Some wheat, banana and yeast in taste, smells grassy, hints of fruit. josanguapo (1862) - SPAIN - OCT 1, 2017
